Hey Judy,
Good to see you on here. D'Ann is right about the drinking too much
too soon. I'm guilty of this some times, and I do pay the price
later. Don't confuse this with drinking plenty of water at other
times though. Drinking plenty of fluids can help delay hunger
pains. Also consider planning your snacks. If you prepare by
keeping healthy snacks, or even some not so healthy snacks available,
and maybe portioned out, you will be able find something to battle
your hunger pains. I keep some almond windmill cookies around.
They're relatively healthy as far as cookies go, they crunch, and
they're just sweet enough to satisfy. Corey would freak hearing me
say this, but I dip into the peanut butter sometimes for a treat.
The fat content is high, but you can't eat peanut butter fast, and
the protein is there. In short, just find ways to find middle
ground. Set out not to snack, but be prepared to be able to make
good choices when you do.
Paul
