RE: [GastricBypassVanderburghIN] How is everyone?
My hubby has some terrible troubles with his digestive system. Not from a gastric bypass exactly, he had a bleeding ulcer that had healed over the exit from his stomach, and it had to be cut open, and patched back together, in 2003.
Now he has MAJOR problems with constipation. In fact he hadn't told me he was having troubles last year. and he ended up not going to the bathroom for a BM for 6 weeks. Then took 2 more weeks messing with Dr and the ER, he finally had to be admitted and it was a MESS! To say the least about it. He was constipated, then when they finally got him going he got diarrhea, then he went septic, on us. Then he got pneumonia, and he had to have a tracheotomy done.
But at this point I think the DR has finally got it through his thick head that he MUST take a dose of miralax if not
daily at least every other day. Would that be a possiblity for anyone here? What does your Dr recommend? Has anyone asked their Dr about this trouble?

Hello,
Glad to see that you are still thinking about the next step. Hang in there. I have to tell you that the last time I went to the doctor I was so bummed because I had not lost any weight. Then I came home and disgreetly lost 3 lbs in the bathroom! yikes! I keep struggling with this potty thing....
Hang in there clown buddy!

I only get this way when I eat too much splenda.
It has been pretty quite in here lately. Did anyone go to the fall festival? I tried the German meatballs. They were good. I had a pronto pup too, I can tolerate them but know I shouldn¢t eat them, lol.
I am thinking of calling the plastic surgeon that the dr told me about. I keep putting it off. It seems I¢ve had enough surgery, you know. But it is uncomfortable and my clothes don¢t look right. There¢s always something, huh?

It has been a long time since I have posted to the group. I have added 3 new photos.
Hope everyone is doing good. I am except for problems with my bowels which I have
always had this problem, it seems to bother me more now since my surgery. I have to
watch and keep track of my bowel movements or I will have severe stomach pain and
terrible gas.
Does anyone else have this problem and what has worked for you.
