People look at me like I'm nut when I say I've gained 1-5 lbs. But if I don't keep a watch on it, it will get out of control and my surgery will be in vain. They just don't understand where we've come from and how far God has brought us! I'm not deliberately walking, but when it was all I could do was to get back and forth to the bathroom without sitting down on the way, I'm doing SOOOO much better. I had to use an electric cart to shop with before and now I can shop for hours and walk all over the stores.
All I am on now is Calcium and a Multi Vitamin. I was still on Insulin and other diabetes meds till this past Feb. Most diabetics got off their meds 1 month after surgery, but 27% don't and that was me. One of our products got my sugars down so I am no longer showing signs of diabetes.
I found I was craving peanut butter. I'm usually able to control my cravings. If there's something I want, I might take 1 bite unless I'm afraid it has too much sugar or salt. I'm still trying to keep calories between 600-700 daily or I don't lose. I don't snack. If I feel like snacking, I just drink more.
Company suggest eating sensibly and I still follow the same diet I've been on since after surgery. My husband basically eats whatever he wants, but just doesn't want as much. For example, He used to scramble 5 eggs for breakfast and make that into 4 sandwiches. Now, he scrambles 1-2 and makes 1 sandwich. Instead of 3-4 homemade hamburgers for lunch or dinner, he's full with 1. We are saving money! Monday nite we ate at Logan's and got the 2 can dine for $13.99. I always take food home and make 2 more meals from it. For the first time in 26 yrs. he brought food home, too. He could only eat 1/2 of his pork chop! In less than 1 mo., he's dropped a size in his clothes!
I LOVE this product! This is 90% more effective than diet & exercise alone. I wish it had been on the market before I had surgery.
