Deann -

Nice to hear from you.  I would love for you to forward our support group schedule on to your group....the more the merrier!  And I will definitely check out your online group.

I browsed your website and want to say "congratulations" on your weight loss...what an awesome achievement.  I have 3 kids and also know the joys of being able to keep up with them (for the most part!) and not let my weight prohibit me from joining in activities I never would have before.

I started the support group almost 6 years ago.  I actually started it before I even had my insurance approval for my gastric bypass surgery....I had such faith it would happen and I knew this support group was just something I was "meant" to do.  I was 5 years post-op on June 10th.....and it has been an awesome journey.  I have kept off 110+ pounds over the years but have to admit it is still a struggle and some of the old demons creep their way back in over time.  BUT I have no fear that I will ever be close to the 310 lbs that I started at.  The support group has been a huge part of my journey and it "recharges" me each month.  If interested you can read my journal at ObesityHelp.com - Profile for Vicki Woods
