okay, I remember that now, I did take that long test too and I made the family tree. Actually, the one on the wall in her office is the one I did. She wanted me to change the names since she was going to put it up. That's why the names are like Greg, Marsha, Jan, etc. lol
I wasn't required to do the behavior classes, I think they just started that awhile back.
Judy, I'm glad you remembered all that! Have you been to any support group meetings? The next ones are coming up JAn 15th, Monday at 6pm or Jan 18, thursday at 10am.

At St. Mary's Bariatric My first appointment was with the
psychologist. I had to take a long test about how my weight affected
my life, what kind of pain I was in from being over weight and just
how life in general was for me. It's been awhile since I've taken the
test so I'm not sure about everything they asked anymore. After that
I talked with the psychologist and she gave me homework to do on my
family tree.. But instead of birth dates I had to give age of death
and their medical history. It really opened my eyes to see just how
much of my weight was genetic and how much was environmental/nurture.
After the 2nd visit with her, (I guess I passed) and then they made my
first appointment with the doctor. Since then they have started up
some behavior classes that you are required to take. I've yet to go
to any but they say there are only 2 and they teach you how to change
your behavior with food before the surgery. Hope that helps.. and
Good luck!!
