I have to do this before my insurance will pick up for the lap banding.
I have a few packets of Vanilla optifast 800. The first one I had a hard time with, then...
I have been drinking water with crystal light.
I tried mixing the optifast with strawberry crystal light, and OMG
You can't believe the difference.
Orange works good too.
I wonder if that would work for any of you?

Everything here is doing good... I had a stall in weight loss and have
been pretty anxious about that lately. But I hear it's pretty much
normal to go for weeks without losing anything. I'm sure once I start
losing again the hair will start going too. I am trying Biotin 5000
mcg daily to maybe head off some of the hair loss. It might not help
much, but it can't hurt and it makes me feel better. Lana at the
clinic said she used it too, she wasn't sure if it helped but it made
her feel better. Hair loss is probably the scariest part of all this
for me.
I've been trying new protein products. I was looking into my daily
calories and noticed that my protein shakes were like 287 calories for
4 oz. Three times a day that's starts to add up. And the mess it
makes to create a shake is sometimes more then I wanna deal with in
the evenings. I'm trying something called Profect that I found
online. Only 100 calories for 2.9 oz.. 0 fat, sugar and carbs with 25
grams of protein. It's a weird consistency, kinda like a liquid gel,
and a couple of the flavors I have to struggle to get down, but
nothing as bad as the beneprotein was for me. (gags)
I also bought a bottle of Proteinex. It's 15 grams of protein in 2
tablespoons, 60 calories per serving and 0 fat, sugar and carbs. This
stuff is great... again the taste has something to be desired, but 2T
is nothing to get down. There are so many evenings that I just cringe
thinking I have to drink 4 oz of a protein shake before I go to bed,
and this stuff is perfect. On days when I think I'm not getting in
enough protein I take a couple tablespoons to help boost my protein
count for the day.
I have other stuff that I'm trying too, but nothing has really stood
out like the Profect drinks and the Proteinex. Some of this stuff
would have been better in the first few weeks after surgery, now I'm
just sick of puddings and don't wanna try them. Maybe later they'll be
a nice snack or something.
