This is the official interactive email group of GRASP's Southeastern, IA Network. GRASP, the Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership, is the largest organization of adults diagnosed on the autism spectrum in the world. This is one of their local networks. More information can be had through GRASP's website at www.grasp.org.
For those of you who are not yet GRASP subscribers, please note that the only way to join this group is to first go to GRASP's website and subscribe to the "Southeastern Iowa" elist. This is all free, and can be accomplished easily by hitting the "subscribe" button at the top of our homepage, and then by following the instructions in the email invitation.
Our network serves as a support group offering both face-to-face meetings and an online discussion website for adults in Southeast Iowa. We emphasize support through discussion, information, and advocacy.
Support and respect go hand-in-hand. We may disagree with each other, but we can do so in a way that does not exclude and is not abusive.
