Description
The Weston A. Price Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism. We support a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies. Some of the Foundation's specific goals include establishment of universal access to high quality dairy and a ban on the use of soy formula for infants.
This local list is focused on these issues in the southern states of the US, primarily Georgia. Please consider joining us to learn more about what the Weston A. Price Foundation is doing both nationally & locally and how you can participate.
If you are looking for high quality dairy see our files section (to the left) and look under Sources for Products. You may also join our SouthEastern Dairy Club at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/SEDairyClub/
We have a new, related site for the collected wisdom of families bringing up healthy children http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GA_Family/
