Hello, Nelson - I'm writing to you today even though I imagine you are
pretty wound up in the hurricane disaster situation. I need to ask your help
as I prepare a treatment profile for POZ. I want to do a short profile of
someone who has dense resistance and could use tipranavir, but would prefer
to wait until there is another new drug to pair it with (other than Fuzeon).
So the piece would look at how the person and his/her doctor cobble together
a regimen to tide the person over until there's another new drug available
to put it with. Do you know someone like that whom you could introduce me
to? As I'm sure you know, the profiles are the most accessible way of
presenting treatment info to the widest audience, and I'd love to be able to
do this one to let people know they have options....
With much respect,
