I’ve had bouts of intense itching over the last decade or so, long before I started Fuzeon. It was hard to sleep, since I itched in so many different places. My doctor had no idea what the cause was. Oatmeal baths were recommended to me, but they were only a small help. Eventually the severe itching went away, although I still seem to have more itching than I should.
I wonder if the itching might have something to do with allergies to certain soaps and laundry detergents. I would try switching detergents to an all natural brand, free of all perfumes and dyes. I would try the same thing with soap and shampoo and see if that is any help. Keeping the skin moist by avoiding long hot showers and using a moisturizing lotion might also help.
I don’t know if these suggestions will help, but I think they’re worth a try. Good luck.
