I got off Fuzeon a day ago to see if I feel better. So far, no changes

 

Just got an email from a friend who went to a medical conference in Rome where they presented the latest Tipranavir data. I am a little depressed to learn that Tipranavir did Ok with viral load reductions for a few weeks, but then the benefits disappeared quickly.

 

I also saw preliminary data on the TANOX infusion that I was so excited about. It seems that resistance developed quickly as monotherapy. Let's hope that we a good background it works better.

 

We now have to pray that TMC-114, the next PI on phase II, performs better. There is also a powerful nucleoside called Reverset that may be good.
