Re: [FuzeonSupport] Day #110 Injection #220

Hi :
Fuzeon seems to be helping me too. I wish I could say the same about side effects. It causes terrible anxiety and depression reaction in me. Ive had to self inject for years so that was no problem. I am now seeing a psychiatrist to help me with the horrible depression and anxiety which I can directly atribute to T20 it hits me everytime within 20 mins and lasts about 6 to 8 hours post injection. Then the next injection same thing all over.
I want to ask you more about the reconstructive thing. I am in Louisiana and I cant even find anyone who is familiar with La's health codes> sigh*
Thanks
Beau

Subject: [FuzeonSupport] Day #110 Injection #220

Day #110 Shot #220.

This drug has proven itself with me thus far. Only after 42 days I
became undetectable from 23587 copies and CD4 has climbed to 420 from
180 at the start of therapy.

The only drug that I showed resistant to when starting the Fuzeon was
EPIVIR.

My current combination with Fuzeon is 3 Kaletra twice a day, 1 Viread
per day and 1 Epivir twice a day to act as a booster to Kaletra.

I have been lucky that I have tolerated most drugs combinations with
minimal side effects over the years.

There are certain drugs that I have remained strongly opinionated
about not taking due to their contribution to lipodystrophy.

I have found that after getting over the initial fear of injecting
Fuzeon, it has become a piece of cake. I stopped using my thighs
after only 30 days due to large site reactions. I now only use my
abdomen area, always remembering to rotate sides. Small bumps are
usually gone in hours.

I normally mix two doses at once in the evening, refrigerating one
for the next morning. I have also on several occasions mixed my doses
and have gotten distracted for up to an hour, leaving the mixed
Fuzeon out, and still have had no problem with the mixture or
injection.

I have worked it out in my daily routine that I try and get my
injections done approximately 12 hours apart, sometimes given an
hour or two either side.

I feel great and have seen a significant change in my labs. I hope to
continue these results.

I am very excited about this drug and hope to hear from others about
their experiences with Fuzeon.

Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns that you
may want to share.

Good luck to all.

PS My User ID, is a California Health and Safety Code referring to
reconstructive (not) cosmetic surgery due to facial wasting caused by
HIV. Please feel free to ask more regarding this.
