I tried using the awful torture devices supplied with the kit, but gave up. Someone from the PozHealth list suggested using diabetic syringes to me. I tried using a 1/2 cc syringe and it worked fine except it didn't contain the full dose. I told my doctor about this, and he prescribed 31 gauge 1 CC syringe. The higher the number, the thinner the needle is. The supplied syringes are 25 or 27 gauge. There may be 2CC diabetic syringes, too, that make pushing down the plunger a little less awkward. The point is, there are much less painful options. Talk to your doctor and best wishes!Joe

Good luck on starting the Fuzeon. I have been on it for 3 years and never thought I would be able to use the needles but everything has worked out okay. I do not use the needles that come in the kit for injections I buy a thinner needle from walgreens that works much better. gary
