Thanks to Karen for this Frugal Baby Tip!
I use 2 Sterlite (like a Rubbermaid but fewer bumps to wash out) 15 or
18 gallon rectangular shaped, shallow plastic buckets. Cost about 4
buck each. One for upstairs, one for downstairs.
When I pour the vinegar into the fabric softener dispenser, I pour
about a tablespoon of vinegar into each bin, wipe with a sponge and
rinse (I am fortunate to have a big tub sink in my basement next to
the washer. It was my big Christmas present last year when I was
pregnant).
No liner needed at all, and my buckets always smell clean. I gave up
on the tall diaper pail. To hard to lug around and impossible to
clean. This is SO much easier.
