I have made some prefolds and think that they are much better than the
Snugglebottoms diapers, even if you have to pin them. I used receiving
blankets and then for the inside pad, two strips of regular bath
towel, not really really thick towel, but 100%cotton, and another
layer of the receiving blanket cut into a strip and then sewed it all
together, and they are adorable and very absorbent. I'm planning on
using these for my new baby in June with Air Rika's and Alexis snap
ons. It sure will be cheaper than newborn prefolds or something
similar to a smaller Snugglebottom diaper.
