Diaper Washing: Using Grass to Whiten   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #134 of 312 |
Thanks to Jenny for this Frugal Baby Tip!

My mother told me that her mother used cloth dipes and menstrual pads
and would lay all of it in the grass to whiten. Something about the
chlorophyll in the grass got all the stains out. I've tried it on
dipes that were still stained after they were in the sun, and all
whitened back to new.
