A discussion and support group for parents and caregivers of children with Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders including ADD/ADHD, Asperger’s, PDD, PDD-NOS, etc; who are, or are considering, avoiding gluten, casein and other substances in their children’s diets. Serving the MD, PA, VA, WV, DE & DC area only.

Discussions include:
Practical information and tips on following a GF/CF/etc diet;
Personal stories and experiences with relation to GF/CF/etc problems;
Information on what food is GF/CF/etc and what is not;
Tips on how to eat out of the house;
Recipes and tips on how to cook and prepare GF/CF/etc food;
Local resources;
Other appropriate topics include anything at all related to diet and autism spectrum disorders-including GFCF as well as yeast, nitrates/nitrites, dyes, vitamins, minerals, supplements, dealing with teachers, friends, schools, outings, siblings, testing, etc.

Please keep general off-topic information off the list as much as possible and clearly mark off-topic posts.
