RE: [FluoridePoisoning] Fibromyalgia and fluoride

Brian,

I have used Borax in water for fluoride poisoning.  One thing in particular I have noticed.  I have had a great deal of itching just when I would lay down in bed.  After a while it would generally subside.  I didn't think it was allergy to soap as I use hypoallergenic ECO brand with no fragrance and the itching would be even on an area which was not in contact with the bedding.  After I started using Borax this itching disappeared so many it is the nano bugs described on earthclinic.com.  Recently I got away from using the Borax regularly and the itching came back so I am trying to get back into the routine.

I am still having lots of symptoms particularly weight gain and hypoglycemia disrupting my sleep, also low cortisol.  So I can't say that the Borax helped that.  I have a suppressed TSH so I have had difficulty getting appropriate treatment for hypothyroidism.  I either have pituitary hypothyroidism or thyroid hormone resistance or both. I was getting Cynomel from Mexico but that dried up.  I went back on a combination of Westhroid and Armour which didn't help even at 7 grains.  Now I am in the process of switching over to RLC labs Hypo Thyroid Support which has a significant amout of T3.

My water is fluoridated.  We have had reverse osmosis for years but still I became fluoride poisoned from medications four years ago.  I was also a big tea drinker at that time. I am showering in the water though when I am motivated occasionally I bathe with Epson Salts. The bath water may be a significant reason why I have not improved.

Hi Brian,
I tried borax powder in water for a while but now I take 3 to 9 mg of chelated boron as a supplement. I do think boron is helpful for the joint pain and bone health. Magnesium is essential! I think boron is one of several trace minerals like selenium and lithium that offsets fluoride toxicity. (I take those too.) I base this on the research from Deaf Smith County in Texas which had high natural fluoride levels in the water and an almost perfect balance of other minerals. The local farmers had excellent health and good teeth as long as they avoided flour and sugar.  I no longer have fibro or chronic fatigue but symptoms come back if I drink my tap water or shower in it. I take short baths with plenty of baking soda or epsom salts that blocks the fluoride from entering the skin. I have a very simple old fashioned diet based on the Weston A. Price Foundation research and my ancestry which is Dutch. I think I have the gene for gluten intolerance and that is one reason why I was so poisoned - gluten intolerance damages the bowel, fluoride damages the bowel, and that greatly reduces calcium and iodine uptake from foods.

Tamarind in small amounts may be tolerated (not by hypersensitives like me) and the antioxidants and minerals may be of benefit, just like in green and rooibos teas, despite the small dose of fluoride. I have clients with thyroid disease who don't get symptoms from their expensive organic green or white tea as long as it is made with spring or distilled water. So I think there may be brands of green tea out there (like the Matcha Japanese green tea powder) that are beneficial for those who are not hypersensitive.

I have a hunch that much of my fibromyalgia is caused by fluoride
poisoning from tap water. I am taking magnesium malate with good
success, for reducing the pain of my condition. Omega-3 fish oil is
helping my mood.

Has anyone here with fibro tried borax or tamarind for cleaning out the
fluoride buildup? I just read that tamarind already has a lot of
fluoride in it, so I am assuming tamarind really isn't such a good
thing. My local water district adds fluoride to the water and I
recently stopped using fluoride toothpaste.

Any ideas? Advice?

Thanks in advance!
