There is already discussion of jammed ICUs and rationed health care and even of disconnecting ventilators. Hundreds of Americans wait in line in vain for H1N1 vaccine which some officials admit will not come until Christmas. And a second outbreak of the Swine Flu pandemic may be coming.

We are a group of public health professionals, medical personnel, and academicians in the areas of microbiology, pathology and virology who are concerned because previous global epidemics claimed 50 to 100 million lives -- about 2%-3% of those infected.
