Usually, I celebrate New Years Eve and New Years Day at home or
occasionally with a very small group of friends.  This time, I'm
giving some very serious thought to bringing in the New Year in
Miami.

For those of you that live in the Miami area, would you please provide
me with suggestions of places to stay and the best places to go to
bring in the new year?

It may even be nice to make it a group event.  Anyway, let me know.

I've taken Acyclovir and it works wonders whenever i stop taking it i
get outbreaks back to back, its much cheaper and most drugstores like

Yes, but it is a lot less expensive than Valtrex. Valtrex didn't work for me,
either.

If they are promoting a site that claims a cure then they are using
this web site to advertise a false product. That is spamming.
Most sites try very hard to protect their members from spam.
In addition they are making claims that are outright lies.

I feel it is the responsibility of the moderators to minimize spam
to the best of their ability and protect the members, not as well
informed, from outright lies about expensive "cures."
I don't believe we should support "bunko" artists.

I don't see anyone promoting or spamming the site with religion.
Someone saying God Bless You or something like that is
free speech without promoting religion or spamming.

Yes, it's by prescription.? You don't even have to have ins to get it for cheap
either.? You just have to take 2 pills, 3 times a day.?

Hi everyone.

Several people have asked our committee boss, Karen (Chat name:
Irisheyesmilin) questions and sought information about our upcoming
Event. So, with a nod to David Letterman, Karen has put together an
OctoberPhest Top Ten List from the home office in Philly, PA.

1. The room price will rise after September 21st.   Judging from the
calls received this weekend I would advise you to act fast. The
block is filling up quickly.

2. IMPORTANT!   The committee has decided to extend the date of the
current event registration fee of $60 to coincide with the hotel
block expiration date .The $60 fee will be honored until the
September 21st.

3. If you would like to attend the banquet only – the price is $60.

The $60 fee is primarily covering our costs for the buffet banquet,
DJ, and transportation for Saturday. We are also having munchies at
the Meet & Greet but the bar is a cash bar, as it is at the Saturday
night banquet. We tried to keep it as reasonable as possible but
banquet costs are getting absurd.  As with most events, you may
discretely bring your own liquor into your room.

4. All guests of Philadelphia Friends who are staying at the hotel
will have a 15% discount for all meals purchased at the hotel
restaurant.

5. We are providing van transportation from the hotel to Center City
for the various activities. Also remember that if you are flying in
and staying at the Quality Inn - they provide free airport pickup
and drop-off.

6. Our Saturday Day activities breakout as follows: The Duck Ride is
about $25; the Pub Crawl is dependent on just how much you want to
drink; the Walking Tour won't cost you anything unless you want to
buy food along the way or purchase do-dads at stores, the Mutter
Museum is $12 and Eastern State Penitentiary is $12 but we have a $1
coupon, so $11. And as far as Harrah's Casino's is concerned... just
bring your retirement nest egg.

7. We will be selling tickets for a Big Basket of Cheer at the
Registration Table on Friday . The ticket will be drawn at the Meet
& Greet on Friday night. The lucky winner will have all weekend to
enjoy the Spirits of Philadelphia!

8. We will also be doing a 50/50 at the Saturday banquet with a
portion of our proceeds going to a charity or cause that we will
announce at the banquet. October is the month of Breast Cancer
Awareness and cancer touches so many lives including my own that we
may consider the American Cancer Society. But we will let you know.

I looked at the web site. It claims that the virus lives in the cells
where the outbreak occurs.
Based on information from researchers the virus lives in the nerves in
the spine and travels
through the nerve ganglia periodically to the surface. Which is the
reason that it is not
possible to cure. Resolveherpes. com is selling "snake oil"  for $199
to those not well
enough informed to know their claims are false. There is no cure at
this time.

Please visit the web site and decide for yourself. Please do not
defend Resolve's empty
claims. It all sounds very clinical but all their facts are false.

Compare clinical information that they claim against CDC and other not
for profit H studies.

A 31 year old female that has had herpes for 23 years. Genital?

Posts about resolveherpes.com have been systematically posted on

Please go to the resolveherpes.com site and read their claims. The
clinical
information is false. They claim that the virus lives under the skin
so it can
be destroyed.

The clinical facts are that the virus lives in the nerves in the spine
and travel through
the nerve ganglia to the surface periodically which is why it can not
be cured.
It can be killed on the surface but It must be destroyed in the spine
where it lives.
That is why there is no cure yet. Maybe never.

There are many phony cures on the internet. None of them are real.

Resolveherpes.com is selling "snake oil" for $199 to people not well

informed to understand that their claims are false.

There have been multiple posts on several H websites in the past
couple of
months about resolveherpes.com.





On a NYC herpes group it was a person from Colorado trumpeting the glory
of a cure.

not everyone has the same effects from herpies= i've had it 27 years= thanks
from being cheated on- i'm lucky= rarely ever have outbreaks, lived with a man 6
yr he never got it=had one outbreak in 6 yr, and did not take any meds for for 5
of the 6 yrs=because back then my doctor 'advised me to stop taking it, saying
some get immune from outbreaks, but NOW we have learned we can pass it without

are you aware that you can be sued if you give someone herpies without their
knowledge that you have herpies? I KNOW it is hard to tell, but it is a moral
and legal obligation that you tell BEFORE you have sex- they deserve the
choice, .
Valtrex is the ONLY medication proven to reduce outbreaks, that is your choice
to not take it but it is WRONG in every way to be selfish and not tell- and
anyone who does what you are doing deserves to be sued if you give it someone
without telling them you have this-

Hey Kim:
     Debbie is right.... Acyclovir is cheap,,,you can  get it for $4.00 for 30
pills, 200 mg count at Target (where I get mine) and I  believe Walmart
too... may be other places as well,,, certainly you are near  target or
Walmart...
     I don't like medicine other than vitamins,,, so I  just go on 5pills/day
(200 mg each) for 3-5 days when I feel I may be having an  eruption...
     If you are new to H... in the beginning the virus  is stronger and erupts
much more frequently. MY first yeat I had an outbreak  every 3-6 weeks....
after the 2nd year it started to taper off...now,,,I go thru  spells,,, As a
conscientious person, sometimes I may think im having an  outbreak (may not be)
but i assume I am... for the protection of myself and  others. When they do
occur many are very minor, occasionally, I get the real  mccoy, lol....
     Hang in there,,,  staying healthy, eat right,  exercise, reduce stress,
and talking to us can help.

Yes Fairy Woman,,,this is SPAM,,,,but at least its Herpes related...  lol...
You are probably correct, and yes mine outbreaks are similar to  yours,,,
It was probably just hype to scare people into wanting a cure and going to
the website...
There is enough info in general to not need to spend for special products
that probably just contact L-Lysine, and other vitamins that are good for a
healthy immune system which helps too...
