RE: [FailsafeNT] Re: Is this what's going on?

Hi everyone,
We were away on holidays and Kenzie started eating the pure white sand on
Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays - knowing it was so clean and pure I let
him. Plus we'd covered him in a low-risk (if there is such a thing) zinc
sunscreen. Plus we were in a tropical climate and we come from Melbourne
where it was the middle of winter. So 3 different things going on I know,
but his skin was the best it had been in a long time and soon after we got
home we saw our mindd dietician for the first time and he said EATING SAND
IS A SIGN OF ZINC AND SILICA DEFICIENCY. Also, Kenzie often tries to put
bark and rocks from our garden in his mouth... so I agree with Renee about
the rock dust, Kenz would probably benefit from it greatly. We now put
celtic sea salt (grey) on most of his meals...

I mineralized with rock dust and it really helped my root veggies get
huge. I put it under my mulch in late winter, and when I lifted the
mulch to plant in spring, the earth worms were just having a party under
there! I want to do it again. I've heard you need 3 things, rock dust,
manure and "innoculent"; and that innoculent can be gotten from the
forest anyplace there's rotting leaves and such. I believe in rock dust!
