Hi everyone,
I want to share some of my success with you and maybe it will be
useful to someone.
I haven't had too much respect for weight loss drugs, but my Dr.
suggested I try a perscription for one month and see if it helped me,
since I am offically obese. I was skeptical at best, but took the
chance with the perscription.
I really was surprised that I didn't feel shakey, nervous, jittery,
or anything else while using it. All that happened to me was that I
was more thirsty and I didn't crave food like I ususally do. (I now
drink a lot more water than I used to.)
The doctor says the drug basically calms the part of my brain, that
wasn't working so well, that tells me when I'm satisfied and full
while eating.
I am a huge chocoholic, but while taking this Rx I've been satisfied
with just a bite or two of candy then not interested any more. I used
to be really bad at snacking at night, but now I don't feel the
craving and control myself much better.
I'm learning better habbits, trying to exercise daily, and still
loosing weight. As a result, after being on the Rx for 4 months I've
officially lost 26 pounds. I feel great and have lost two pants
sizes. Yeah!
Anyway, I don't know if this would work for everyone, but the Rx
is called phentermine and is strictly controlled, although it is not
addicting. And to my delight, it is actually much less expensive than
the over the counter "diet pills" that I see in the stores.
Merry Christmas and happy New Year to everybody.
Ruth
