I used to take soup to work. Progresso has some healthy but tasty choices.
Sometimes I just like pasta with sauteed vegetables and a little salad dressing. That might be good with some chicken or beef in it too. I use Dreamfield's pasta which is a low carb pasta that actually tastes pretty much like regular pasta. I have tried other low carb pastas, and they were inedible.
I like Morning Star's frozen "chicken" patties. This is what my husband calls a chicken-like product. It is actually a soy patty made to taste like chicken. Erin and I like to make a sandwich with them.

Dear Group:
I have been realizing that I need/want to save some money and oh by
the way also eat healthier, so I am going to start taking my lunch to
work.
My request, then, is for healthy lunch ideas. I'm stuck in the
sandwich/carrots with cottage cheese dip rut. I've tried to take
salads but am stuck in the romaine lettuce/veggies/croutons/ blue
cheese rut.
Do any of you routinely take your lunch to work? If so, what do you
take? Any suggestions? Recipes? Ideas?
Thanks!!!
Donna
