FASResource was created to give families - biological and adoptive - who live with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/Effects - a place to learn more about the disability and exchange information with families just like themselves.
We have a number of FASD individuals as members as well and they share invaluable insights on a regular basis, we are so grateful to them for their willingness to open up to assist with raising our own kids!

As people living with children disabled by prenatal alcohol exposure we are often subject to burn-out - this list will help us express our feelings on that subject as well!

Our list has evolved into somewhat of a school travails support list as well, as we struggle to get the very best education for our children in appropriate classrooms and settings to maximize their learning experiences.

We are moderated, but please feel free to post jokes and anecdotes anytime. Please though, refrain from flaming! We are all frazzled enough daily by our kids...we don't need to feel frazzled from our support list!

Please do not put out invites to other groups on this list. If you do you may be put on moderation.

We steer clear of politics here, as well as other "hot buttons".
