There's a fundamental disagreement between MIT & BBS: MIT claims to develop
denser, more contractile,("functional"), fiber, that may not 'show' as well as
muscle developed by bodybuilder-style workouts, while BBS attributes virtually
all of the different types of results to genetics, & does so in a thoroughly
scientific manner that I have yet to see from MIT... That said, McGuff
apparently mis-read the UofSMiss paper in similar fashion to Shawn. I've read
two distillations of the research & it's conclusions: It does NOT contend to
have proved that limited-range work transfers to full-range strength, & its
conclusion,("..more research will be required.."), virtually admits to being a
poorly-controlled experiment,(which it was).

Your body gets used to levels of resistance,(& levels of volume, but increasing volume is not considered a good idea around here). Any other aspect of getting...
