Hi Anthony & all
:~ )
I took delivery of my Six Pack Strap last week, and have used it once. I'm
delighted with it. It is beautifully constructed, as KD Industries products
tend to be (I have a pair of their 1-Ton Hooks, and like them very much). I
used it with my XF2000 by setting the bar at a high elevation and attaching
it securely to the bar with one of the long boot laces I used for my
forearm/grip prototype setup. I then knelt on the footplate of the XF2000,
looped the strap pad around my chest and crunched forward and down, as in
doing a kneeling version of the weighted high pulley crunch illustrated
here:

This was not fully satisfactory. As I crunched forward there was a tendency
for me to leave the ground, as I was not held down by a retaining bar. A
better option would have been to do a seated version with the lap retaining
bar positioned across my thighs to hold me down, but the straps of the Six
Pack Strap are too long for that. Another approach I'll try is to set up as
before, position the lap bar very low, and hold onto it as I crunch. That is
still a compromise of course.
I emailed Pete Sisco about this a few days ago, as he has used the Six Pack
Strap in conjunction with the XF2000. As soon as I receive Pete's reply I'll
post it to the group.
I'm so pleased I was able to help you. Helping people is my greatest
delight. Let us know if you go ahead with ordering the EF5000. I'm so
pleased with mine. I went from 867 lbs to 1171 lbs on my 4-week introductory
course, for a gain of 304 lbs.
Best regards,
Steve

Hello again Steven!
Any idea how the Six Pack Strap connects to the XF 2000? I got
this email too and was curious.
By the way, I think I will be ordering the XF 5000 on Friday.
Thank you so much for your help!
Anthony
