Hi to all,
:~ )
I resumed my EF training yesterday (Sunday, 1st February 2004).
I've started with the introductory 4-week workout advocated in Train Smart,
as I said I intended to do in my recent email. I thought this would be a
good idea as it had been quite a while since I last trained. This is the
workout, and my results. As you'll see, the numbers are very low, but it is
a start.
Bench Press .............................. 154
Leg Press .............................. 867
Shrug .............................. 212
Biceps Curl .............................. 44
Triceps Press .............................. 183
The workout took me quite a bit longer than usual to perform, as I was
messing about with bar positions.
Speaking of the bars, when I first began training back in July 2003, rather
than use the bar with the carabinder clips at it's ends, I used the other
one (except for Lat Pulldown, when I needed it to hold me down on the
bench), using bolts with wing nuts to speedily attach it to the chain. I
find those big clips tend to catch on the chains, making smooth
operation a little awkward. I don't know why, but yesterday evening I
switched to the clip-end bar, which is why I was messing about with the bar
positions. I'll be going back to using the other bar. Does anybody else do
this?
Regards,
Steve
