Hi All. I just wanted to update you on my son Nik. He is doing wonderful! It had been a roller coaster with him since he was 17 mos old. He is now 17 years old. In Aug. of '08, he was diagnosed  with CVID- common Variable imunodeficiency Disease. He has been getting IVIG every 4 weeks. He has blossomed into a normal teenage boy. He has been seemingly healthy, full of energy, and has not been sick a day! He swam for the boys swim team, and made it to the practices 6 days a week. He is able to hang out with his good friends. He smiles so much more, and he laughs a lot. I pray it continues.   Laurie,  Nik's mom
