When my son was 9 months old, we had to get tubes put in his ears as
he had so many ear and sinus infections, and also croup. He coughed
and sneezed so much he ended up having surgical repair for a double
hernia at the same time as they did the ear tubes at Children's
Hospital in Pittsburgh. Then there was the life time
sinus/cough/allergies/and bloody noses that went with it. Funny thing
though, since they started treating him for Evans, no more bloody
noses. He is 26 now, but I strongly suspect all the doctors missed
any blood problems in the 24 years of symptoms.
