Hi Marlene,
Thank you so much for sharing Nick's accompolishments with us. I don't post very often these days but I monitor the messages and pray for the group and their families. I remember back in 2001/2002 when Nick was in crisis; so it really warms my heart to know he is doing so wonderfully! I'm sure you're a very proud parent! He has been blessed with a wonderful family!
God Bless,
Debbie (47 w/Evans)

I'm glad to be back in the loop. Nick was in crisis in 2001-2002 (Evans
and other auto immune issues - including Lupus) and he's doing very well.
During that time it was always encouraging to me to hear of other
patients who did well for a long period of time. Nick graduated from
Samford University in Birmingham in May with a political science degree.
He immediately began an MBA. He's beem employed full time at Regions Bank
for a couple of months. He ran a 1/2 marathon last May in Nashville and
is looking forward to climbing Mt. Kilaminjaro in June with two of his
uncles, an aunt and two cousins. We know his health could change quickly
but we have been thankful and encouraged. I pray often for the other
patients on the Evans Syndrome list.
