The Winro was given here in Pensacola....at a Children's hospital. We found out they are incompetent here and now drive 700 miles roundtrip about every 2 weeks to go to Shands hospital doctors in Gainesville. Here in Pensacola they literally tortured her. Couldn't find her veins etc. It was just horrible. In Gainesville we take her to the childrens clinic and so far they are wonderful. Get her vein for blood work 1st try so far every time. Such a better atmosphere, but they are still perplexed with all of her combined problems. She sees a hematologist, rheumatologist, immunologist.....I know the Winro shouldn't have been given with the Coombs positive either. We would take her around to the other side of the world if that was the best place. We just feel helpless since there are no black and white answers. At least we feel like we have doctors that are really trying now.
