Our Katie got her wings this morning at 9:23 am. After 11 1/2 months with hospice, she is now in the care of Jesus and all of the angels. While her struggle was immense, her final moments were peaceful as Bill and I held her and we listened to her favorite music from the Lion King.
She is our precious angel and not a moment will go by when we won't miss her, but she taught us more about what is important in this life than anyone else could have.
Thank you all so much for your love and support through all of this. I promise I will be back writing emails soon...just need to rest for a while.
