Brittany is still in the hospital. We have started week three this time. The doctors have mentioned the possibility of a bone marrow transplant as our next resort. We have done two plasma transplants and 16 blood transfusions in the last month. yet still her blood counts drop nightly. We have run out of options. My question is has anyone had this done and if so how did things turn out. Also what are the risks for the patient and the donor. I am at a loss for words anymore as I don't know what to do for her anymore. Since February she has only been home three weeks! We thought that she was going to come home soon but every time we think that something else happens!
