RE: [EvansSyndrome] Dr. Boxer

Dear Heather,

I would be more than happy to recommend Dr. Boxer at U of M.  He has been such a wonderful doctor to Annie, and also a good friend.  He is always looking ahead for better treatment for his patients and I believe under his direction that U of M is expanding it's research into Evans and other diseases'.  There is also another pediatric hematologist under Dr. Boxer's staff, and that is Dr. Williams.  He is fantastic with younger children, with a great bedside manner and a wonderful sense of humor.  You can call this number and ask for Dr. Boxer's nurse, and leave her a message. The number is (734) 936-9814.  Good Luck.

As for an immunologist at U of M, Annie has seen Dr. James Baldwin.  We have been pleased with him also.  She calls him Dr. Hunk, she thinks he's real good looking.  He can be reached at (734) 647-5940, or at jbaldwin@... . Good luck on both ends and feel free to contact me if you have anymore questions.

Jeff
