Description
This group was created to support parents and parents-to-be in their physical, emotional and spiritual journeys through the childbearing years. We welcome people from all backgrounds who wish to learn more about pregnancy, birth, empowerment, health, nutrition, childbirth, herbs, alternative health care, family planning, NFP, Reiki, homebirth, natural childbirth, unassisted birthing ( UC, unabirth, ucbirth, DIY childbirth or freebirth), waterbirth, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, nursing (single and tandem nursing), God/dess culture, VBAC, HBAC, UBAC, birthing from within, relationships (I'm running out of keywords ;) and inner peace.
Our membership consists of many wonderful "Radical Mothers" and we are starting to get used to having our beliefs tested here on a pretty regular basis. Our aim here is to inform and inspire, not to judge. We're all just people making friends, making babies and making different choices.
Due to the size and nature of this list, we now require that all new members be approved by a moderator. All pending members will be auto-sent an email from Yahoo that they *MUST* respond to before being approved. If you sign up as "No Mail" you may not receive the email and will NOT be approved. If you need the email, please email the list owner.
