*Also, good news: Timothy Grey and Breanne Russell ‘s “Under The Eight Ball,” is a full length film about Tim’s sister, Lori, who was diagnosed with ALS but she also had Lyme Disease. From their website: {{Lori had suddenly collapsed one day in 2006 and, . . . was then diagnosed at different times, with Guilian Barre Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, Lyme disease, Lou Gehrig’s disease, then Lyme disease again, Lou Gehrig’s disease again. She was once told by her neurologist that “Everyone dies”.}}
Where did the film get its title? The answer, on their website: {{ In 1951 at Fort Detrick, crews built a hollow metal sphere four stories high. Inside germ weapons were to be exploded, creating mists of infectious aerosols for testing on animals....and people. Employees called it the eight ball.}}
* I was fortunate to meet Eric, Tim and Breanne at the Physicians Roundtable. It was amazing to see these terrific, talented young people, passionate about their work and about Lyme disease.*
* Some of “Under The Eight Ball” takes place at the NatCapLyme’s September 24 Congressional Briefing and this leads into the following news:
