Re: [EmpireStateLymeDiseaseAssociation] Under The Eight Ball, more than great

Hi Eva -

Thinking of you today, and I realized that I never called as I had planned. We've had company and have been very busy.

I hope you're doing well and are dealing with the loss of your mom. My relationship with my mother hadn't been good for years and I was, much to my surprise, really upset when she died. I came to realize that there's really something very basic and biological and that it is a big loss. So I hope you're making peace with it.

Your comments about the movie are very interesting, and I'd love to know if it's going to play around here. I'd love to see it.

Hope you're feeling OK - miss you.

Judy

Dear all,
www.undertheeightball.com/
I saw Under The Eight Ball this past Saturday night.  In my opinion, it was more than great.  I hope that everyone will support it a million percent or perhaps one trillion percent, since that is the magic number nowadays.

If I had one wish, it would be that Under The Eight Ball would make even stronger statements.

The controversial aspect of some if not, all of this film may have people wringing their hands or even up in arms.  As in any large group, advocates are sometimes criticized.  So I hope that the people responsible for Under The Eight Ball do not worry about rubbing people the wrong way.

My feeling is that, with respect to this movie, perhaps the more controversy and the more of a storm that erupts over it, the better.

There is no time like the present to take off the kid gloves.  This movie asks some tough questions but ones that may lead to desperately needed answers.

I for one, would like to have some remaining years of my life where I am not living under the 8 ball.  I would like to see all the deaths due to tick-borne disease avenged.  I would like my family and friends to be free from living Under The Eight Ball.

Last words: Watch out Michael Moore: Tim Grey, Brianne Russell and their partners are the terrific and talented, miraculously courageous and the extraordinary new kids on the block.

And Lori Hall-Steele should be thanked, in all our prayers, for her goodness and her generosity of spirit.
