This is a group of dedicated parents of Special Needs children (Autistic Spectrum Disorders, vision and hearing impaired, speech and language impaired, physically impaired, emotionally disturbed, traumatic brain injured, and any other health impaired special education/needs child) who live in the East Contra Costa County cities of Discovery Bay, Brentwood, Byron, Oakley, Knightsen, Tracy, and Antioch in California. This group is to foster support, and friendship, to share ideas and information, and keep the parents of the "Special Kids" in our area connected, well informed, and thoroughly validated as the champions of our children that they are. This group site exists as an ongoing part of the Special Kids Foundation, a calendar of events for the Special Kids Support Group's functions and events, as well as a resource center for all parents of "Special Kids".
