Family lived in Australia when enlisted to serve
'yank' was his call sign
platoon medic his designation
4 Platoon 'Macmaras band'
Introduced me to my future wife, student nurses of course
through letters to a digger scheme
Loved his pecan pie
Last I heard of him
US Marines he joined
saw a photo in Uniform sent around 1974
