Re: Memoirs and things left unsaid

Ed. . . FEW people are ever given the opportunity to carry their
legacy forward and even fewer are able to carry their legendary
heritage into the future so it does justice to the originator.
THAT being said, I want to state that THIS is NOT true of either YOU
or your father. HE is, was and will ever be the LEGENDARY Kolar, to
ALL who knew of him, or WILL know of him in the future. YOU have
assured this with your dedication to him, and the honor you do to
his name and House Rasmuehler. It is assured of his place among the
stars, and our hearts forever.
YOU have become that which he always desired. A son, an heir to
his legend, and a true legacy to the man, the warrior, and the
memory of Kolar. Q'apla and may the banner of House Rasmuehler
forever fly into the cosmos. . . .

Aug. 21st...a day which everyone who knew him will remember.
Over the past year, I have been to many events to remember my
father, and I have heard many stories as to his greatness and how
wonderful he was. Many stories of memories of him and the like, as
well as many people who's lives were changed by him.
Warbird (Colonel) from Amtgard who was always drunk with Dad at
every event they were at together told me that my Dad was a great
man, who in the short time he knew him, was never anything less then
nice to him.
At Dover, the stories were endless of tales of my father and
escapades he was involved in, from drunken Klingon Opera singing in
the middle of the night with Robert O'Rielly, to various friends he
had helped with this and that.
It's been a year today that we lost him. A year to the day that he
left us for whatever Black Fleet, Valhalla, Great Plains Above,
Heaven, Afterlife, where ever he may have gone.
Let us remember that he is now in a better place, and that he is
missed.
My father, Earl, Ulric, Kolar, Hidi, Eagle Claw..the man, the myth,
the legend that he is. With this post, I'd like to say that I miss
him greatly, and I will continue to honor him everyday.
In response, I ask that everyone share any and all memories with
him, as I am soon planning to write a book of his escapades of
things he has done.
Thank you all for your love and support.
