ESSENTIAL OILS ONLINE #040
Welcome to the third millennium. Many people awoke January 1, 2001
and thought to themselves, "Well here's another new year." But this
January 1st, happens to be much different. There will not be another
one like it for 1,000 years.
Just the day before, on December 31st, I was up to watch the last
sunrise of the second millennium. It was for me a very sacred
moment. Why am I sharing this with you? Only to make us realize
how short life is on this earth. Just as our heart beats in rythym,
this ole earth has been spinning and tilting in rythym long before we
were born, and will continue long after we have passed on.
Our lives are like the morning mist that suddenly appears, only to
vanish in the rising sun. What mark will we leave as a sign for
others to follow? Will it be an inheritance worth receiving, or one
that is scorned?
Personally, I can think of no greater inheritance than the gift of
health and healing. As we enter into the third millennium, let us do
so with purpose and love for the sacredness of life.

PHARMACEUTICAL dispensed drugs are toxic failures not fit
for human consumption. According to JAMA (Journal of the
American Medical Association), Prescribed drug-caused
deaths rank 4th on the mortality table list. 1994 statistics
show 106,000 people died from unintended drug side-effects.
This would be considered criminal by any other civilized
standard.
Dr. Julian Whitaker, M.D., Medical Editor for "Health and
Healing," estimates 18 million more people have survived toxic
side effects from these same drugs prescribed by their
doctors...Over 2 million of them were bad enough to be
hospitalized in 1994 alone. Chemical Drugs and the so-called
"health" system that promotes using them are part of the
problem, not the solution.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for your own health, not the AMA,
FDA or your physician. If your physician prescribes a drug for
"treatment," ask him or her what known side-effects exist.
If he or she downplays any risk, ask yourself this question...
Is playing Russian roulette with drugs worth risking your life?
It can and does happen...106,000 deaths every year!!

The Essential Essence of Essential Oils,
An Open Letter to Distributors
The emergence of essential oils on the American scene is forever
changing many lives. Not only is the public finding a previously
unknown healing from chronic forms of illness in using essential
oils, distributors are finding new wealth in marketing them.
This new dynamic is expected to continue for many years.
With less than 2% of the population in the United States who
have even heard of essential oils, the future seems bright for
both health seekers and distributors alike. But as more and
more people turn to essential oils, producers and marketers
can expect growing interference from governmental and
special interest groups. But of the special interest groups,
I am finding that distributors themselves create interference
they are not aware of that hinders development of this industry.
To understand what is happening, we need to first look at the
oils themselves.
Whatever else you may think of therapeutic grade essential oils,
they occupy a unique place in healing and prevention of disease.
For example: Conventional drugs and other forms of therapy
many times bring on adverse health reactions. Essential oils do
not. Conventional drugs and other forms of therapy are single-phase
in action. That is they serve one specific purpose. Essential oils
are multi-phase in action. That is an oil may be be applied
to kill a virus, but then go on to mimic normal functions within
sick cells nurturing them back to health.
In fact, one of the major selling points of essential oils is how
well they synergize with the human body. It is as if plant oils
were created to support life itself, for they come closer to
matching the life-force in humans and animals than any
other known substance... be they man-made or natural.
This is what separates therapeutic grade essential oils
from other forms of conventional therapies, and why
they deserve our highest respect.
Until the mid 1990's, very little of the buying public knew
of, or understood the unique properties of essential
oils. The simple reason lie in how they were marketed.
Assuming one had a knowledge of their therapeutic qualities,
one of the few places to locate essential oils was through
retail outlets. Typically these outlets would be health food
stores and such off beat outlets as candle and new age shops,
not exactly the K-marts and Wal-marts of the world. What's
more, variety was often limited to whatever oils were
displayed
This all changed with the establishment of Young Living
Essential Oils, Inc, located in Payson, Utah. Young Living's
mission is to introduce essential oils into every home in
America. To make this mission become reality, Young Living
knew they would have to find a marketing system that did not
rely on retail outlets. There are many reasons why, but foremost
among them is cost, and education. In addition, consumers
are so saturated with commercials and ads as it is, an essential
oil ad would seem as just another health product being hawked.
Young Living knew of the power of word-of-mouth advertising,
that it is the most powerful form of advertising known. They
also knew by rewarding people who shared their knowledge
of the oils with others, a literal army of messengers could
be formed to spread the word about the healing qualities of
these oils. To make the two come together, they turned
to multi-level marketing.
But multi-level marketing has its problems, too. Though
perfectly legal and ethical, this form of marketing can easily
be incorporated into illegal pyramid schemes. And in fact,
many such scams over the years have used multi-level
marketing to bilk money from the public.
However, for all the scams associated with multi-level marketing,
it remains one of America's fastest growing economies. For
behind the scams, behind all the stories of how scams
use multi-level marketing to bilk the public, this marketing
system works. Never-the-less, multi-level marketing has
left its scars on many who, from experience, associate it
with unscrupulous people out to gouge the public.
Young Living is not immune from this criticism. Some people,
including some of its own distributors, have criticized the
company of this very thing. But what they do not realize
are two things: Young Living's commitment to mission and
integrity.
Understand what is happening here. Here is a company
who is pioneering introduction (in large scale) of one of the
most powerful healing substances known to man. This is more
than entrepreneurial enterprise at work. It is an honest endeavor
to change how Americans view health and healing. This infant
company is standing on the threshold of changing society.
Think for a moment how men like Edison, Ford and Gates
have changed our lives. Young Living is out to do the very
same thing, to change how we think about health and healing.
This change will not happen with conventional medicine, for
western medicine lives and dies with a self-serving mind-set
dedicated to disease management, not healing. It will not happen
in churches who have separated their divine calling from healing.
And it will not happen in colleges of medicine who are heavily
influenced by pharmaceutical drug companies. This change
will only happen if a ground swell of ordinary people causes it
to happen. A revolution of sorts, but a revolution indeed.
Such a movement once loosed will not be denied.
Any time such a movement grows and attains momentum, the
movement becomes larger than the sum of the parts driving it.
This is what has happened with Young Living Essential Oils, Inc.
For Young Living has become larger than the sum of its products,
employees, payroll, distributors and customers. It has become
a movement destined to change how Americans think about
health and healing.
This movement now has a life of its own. Whether Young Living
succeeds or not as a business entity, this movement set around
life-giving oils will survive and go forth. But just as essential
oils are themselves unique, so too is the role that Young Living
plays in this movement. Because of their commitment to produce
a grade of oil, here-to-fore unknown on such a large commercial
scale, the rapid pace at which the movement is growing is
dependent on Young Living's reputation and integrity. This
includes not only producing such glorious oils, but in fair
dealings with their distributors and customers.
As for integrity, In the five past years, Young Living has grown
to become the largest producer of therapeutic grade essential
oils in the U.S. They employ hundreds of people serving over
400,000 distributors and customers. Their Herb Farms measure
in the thousands of acres. They are already the largest importer
of therapeutic grade oils in the U.S. from plants not able to be
grown on U.S. soil. All their oils undergo quality assurance tests
like no other. And the company is vision oriented to meet their
mission. The life-giving heart beat behind all of this activity is
integrity. People who have met and studied under Gary Young, the
company's founder, know his heart that drives his vision.
But for those people who have not visited the company's
massive distilleries and herb farms; who have not walked
through the company's distribution center or met the people
who work in the home office; who have not experienced the
love and zeal shared by thousands of people crowded
together at Young Living conventions, the mission of Young
Living and the movement it created is not always so clear.
In fact, the farther one is removed from being an eye-witness
to this movement, the greater the chances are that Young
Living can seem as just another multi-level marketing
company looking out for its own interests. Some of these
people do not know...they have not heard of, or are
committed to any mission set to change how America
views health and healing.
If you happen to be one who is skeptical of multi-level marketing
companies but know of these high grade, therapeutic oils, know this.
The only way to insure every American family will experience these
oils is through individuals dedicated to a cause they believe
in. This movement is not a church, a religious body out to apostlize.
If it were, it would be funded by contributions, not sales. There are
no creeds, no oaths or testaments, only a growing army of
dedicated individuals who believe in these God breathed oils
and our free enterprise system. They come from all walks of life
and circumstance. The commissions these people receive for
sharing these oils with others is the result, not the cause of
their commitment
There will always be those who criticize multi-level marketing.
But when multi-level marketing comes in contact with a mission
that is out to change how we live, mountains can be moved.
Criticism of those involved tends to be self-serving. Mistakes will
be made, and changes will be commonplace to adapt to needs.
But these are a normal part of any human endeavor. They will be
dealt with. What each of us needs to understand is that how we
act or react to mistakes and change tells much to others about
our own understanding and character. It can work for or against
us.
If you have yet to experience the healing power of therapeutic
grade essential oils, I invite you to contact a Young Living
distributor. With nearly one half of our populace suffering
from one or more forms of Chronic illness, chances are
you need to experience these oils for yourself. Once people
like yourself use the oils and find healing, they tell their family
and friends. This is how the movement spreads and grows.
I have been involved with this movement since 1996. My greatest
satisfaction lies in knowing I have had a part in changing the
quality of life for thousands of people I will never know or meet.
But our lives are tied together by the goodness of life-giving,
life-changing precious healing oils. May your life be blessed
with them as well.

2. Special Offer:
Tissue Mineral Analysis Follow-up
The response to LynnGroup's Special tissue mineral analysis offer
is tremendous. Unfortunately, two things happened within two days
after making our initial offer. We completely ran out of hair kits,
and we were notified of a price increase. The new cost to have a
complete analysis is now $69. Considering the average cost of such
analysis is $120, we feel this offer offers a good savings. If you
already received the hair kit, it is our understanding our initial
advertised price will be honored. All kits sent out in the future
will reflect the new price.
Tissue mineral analysis is a screening test, which measures the
mineral content of your hair. Mineral content of the hair reflects
the mineral content of the body's tissues. If a mineral deficiency
or excess exists in the hair, it usually indicates a mineral
deficiency or excess within the body as well. Minerals function
as essential components for enzyme systems which regulate
virtually every body function.
Nutritional metabolism takes place at the cellular level, not within
the blood or any other location. What you eat is not as important
as what is reaching your body cells. Tissue mineral analysis is
unique in that it inexpensively provides information directly about
cellular activity, which is the main site of nutritional metabolism.
Since the structure of hair remains unchanged, the minerals are
fixed in the hair. The levels in hair are not subject to change once
that portion of hair has grown, so the analysis accurately provides
concentrations of minerals that have accumulated in the hair tissue
over the hair growth period, approximately the last three months.
Minerals:
Tissue mineral analysis is especially accurate in identifying
mineral imbalance and deficiency which may lead to blood sugar
imbalance, glandular imbalance, stress imbalance and
abnormalities in biochemical energy production.
All essential minerals must be supplied either in our food or from
supplements. The analysis of minerals in the blood is both difficult
and costly. A urine sample tells us what the body is eliminating,
not what is stored. The concentration of minerals in the hair is ten
to fifteen times that of the blood. It gives an accurate picture of
the mineral status over a period of approximately three months.
Toxic Metals:
Tissue mineral testing is considered by the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) as an excellent method for detecting
toxic metals, because these metals are stored and concentrated in
body tissues such as hair. Removal of these metals through a
properly designed nutrition program often brings about an
improvement in one's health. For various reasons, mainly an
adrenal insufficiency, toxic metals may not be revealed until the
second or third test, when they begin to be eliminated through the
hair.
Time factor:
Balancing an imbalanced body chemistry requires time. In many
cases, normal, everyday minerals have been replaced in the body
tissues with toxic metals, i.e. lead, cadmium, mercury, etc. These
toxic metals are often so tightly bound in the tissues that they may
not show up on a trace mineral analysis until the third or fourth re-
test. The process of undoing and rebuilding may require six months
to even years depending on your condition at the beginning of
cleansing. Also diet, lifestyle, stress, medications, etc, can all
alter mineral levels and affect the rate of improvement.
Hair analysis clearly shows individual deficiencies or excesses as
well as the presence of toxic metals. There is a biological
opposition that exists between certain nutrients. "Nutrient Ratios"
highlight the interrelationships of the various nutrients. This is
why ratios are important and are reported in a good analysis
profile. It is important for these ratios to be in the expected
ranges so that one mineral excess or deficiency does not affect
the metabolism of another.
Vitamins:
As important as vitamins are they can do nothing for the body
without proper mineral intake. Vitamins cannot function and are
unable to be assimilated without the aid of minerals. Though the
body can synthesize some vitamins, it cannot manufacture a
single mineral.
Testing Frequency:
After your first test and once you change your diet to balance your
mineral profile, it is recommended that a follow-up hair analysis be
completed after a three month period. This will tell you if the
changes made have affected any deficiencies or excess. By
completing two or three tests a year, you will have a tailor made
dietary maintenance program that fits your lifestyle and nutritional
requirements.
Tissue Analysis Profile Cost:
LynnGroup Int'l has made arrangements with a non-profit entity
to offer Tissue Mineral Analysis for a donation of $49.99. Most
medical clinic labs charge $120 for this same service, so you
are encouraged to take advantage of this very generous offer.
Due to professional courtesy, we are not able to mention the
source that will conduct the analysis. However, the work is done
by a reputable laboratory, long known for their work in this area.
