Karen,
When I was 18 years old I had a freaky thing happen to me. I was out
walking through the mountains with some friends of mine, on a winter
night. As we were walking up this mountain, my psoas muscle froze and
it stopped me in my tracks. I could not walk any longer. My friends
had to carry me back down the mountain. I spent the night at one of
my friends house that night but the next day I was fine. Well I
thought I was fine! I could never play sports again, I could not run
anymore and any time I had pressure push on my knee, I would feel a
strong pain in the psoas muscle.
To make a long story short, I was in massage school and the teacher
was showing us a horse stance where you have to open your legs wide
as if you are riding a horse. When I saw that I knew I was not going
to be able to do that. Because of the time I froze the psoas muscle,
I have not been able to open my legs but maybe two feet apart.
At this time that I had been going to massage school, I had been
detoxing for about a year. This is the only thing I have been doing.
No exercise at all!
When I tried the horse stance, I could spread my legs to almost 4
feet without pain. I was shocked! I was so excited!
The detox sessions had taken care of what ever happened when I was
18. I am now 44 years old and I just received my massage license a
couple of months ago. All these years I have been in pain and could
do very little.
Not anymore!
I have a great business doing detoxing and now I have added Massage
Therapy.
ONE HAPPY DETOX TECHNICIAN!

>The reason you should not detox everyday is because you could damage
you cells. The first few sessions will shock your cells this is why a
lot of people feel tired the first few times. If you continue without
resting the cells, damage can occure to them. I had documentation on
this but computer crashed.
This is one of the reasons that kids under eight can not detox. Their
cells are not strong enough yet!
The older folks need to becareful as well! Their cells have become
weaker.
I have studied the tired feeling that most people feel, who have
never detox and then start the sessions. This happens a lot.
There is documentation on detoxing just keep looking online you will
find it. I found it as I was researching but i never saved the site
since I copied it to my computer.

Hi Tom,
I think we have had discussion about the modes before. You might be
able to find it if you go back in the "group" a little. I personally
only use mode 3... it is 70%+ and 30%-. That should be your default
mode. I also suggest that you ask the people that you got the machine
from to provide you with directions to operate the machine.
Your treatments should be everyother day, 3 weeks on and 1 week
off..then starting over again.

I just recently found out about the foot detox. I went to a
chiropractor and tried the detox and liked the results. I then found a
new unit to purchase. It is a cell-spa. When I opened the box I found
only one page telling me the specifics of the machine. My question is
where do I start. I notice it has three different modes. As a new user
should I start on mode 1 and then progress to mode 2 and 3 after
completing the 12 sessions on mode 1. Thanks for any information you
may be able to give me. Tom

Hi Anita...
Personally , I only use the default mode.. 70%-30%. I know that using
the other modes create different effects. But since I dont know
enough about any of the others, I only use the one.
Does anyone else ever use the other modes that you can share with Anita?

the percentage of negative and postive ions. Like after they finish the

Hi Patti...
Do you put anything under the strap? You should always put water &
hand cream under the strap... it helps to conduct
electricity...without it could cause the problem you had.
Thanks... :-)

My machine is a little different it's from better health solutions, so
it doens'nt have the wrist band or special water (as long as the waters

she felt kinda sick for the rest of the day. They (the company) said
you could experiment with the %'s but I'm not sure if that means you
add more -ions or +ions and how often would you increase them on

Hi Patti,
I found that happening too (the nausea) and it was recommended to me
by a chiropractor I talked to
to give the clients Powerade or Gatorade. I just bought the liquid
minerals from Whole Foods and I put a couple drops in the bottle of
water I give them at the beginning of the session, this has worked
well for me, and cheaper than Powerade. Emergen C is a good idea!

A huge added bonus to foot bath detoxing is clear skin.
When I started to detox I had no idea that the foot baths would remove
my blackheads, age spots, discoloration in my skin, it has been a real
blessing. I have tried everything on my blackheads for 30 years with
no real success, I am finally becoming blackhead free from just
consistently doing the cleansing. My son came to visit me last week
and he said he is canceling his subscription to pro-active and is
going to switch to the footbaths after seeing the results for himself.
I was at the mall the other day and was approached by a stranger while
waiting at a bench, he asked what I was using to cleanse my face, I
told him about the foot baths and the benefits that I have received.
He went on to tell me about his various ailments and was going to seek
out a provider to begin doing the baths.
You can be your own walking advertisement and a blessing to others.
I just wanted to feel better, I didn't know these added benefits were
even possible.
I know that many of you know the value of eliminating the toxins from
our bodies, but I have discovered a couple of added values that maybe
some of you have also.
Teeth Whitening - Would you like to have bleached white teeth without
the huge bill? Just wait until you have been in the foot bath for
about 5 to 10 minutes then simply take a small cup of Hydrogen
Peroxide to rinse around in your mouth for a minute or as long as you
are able, then use your toothbrush to do some additional brushing at
the same time. Make sure to spit out the peroxide, do NOT SWALLOW! The
same can be done with the many mouthwash products with whitening
products added, but you will see that the additive is all hydrogen
peroxide which is much more cost effective at $.59 to $.69 a bottle
than the mouthwashes at $4 to 6 a bottle or teeth whitening kits at
$20 to $100s or professional whitening which could run into the
hundreds if not thousands. This works just as effective in my opinion
and I have tried the alternatives. After the first treatment you may
notice a shade difference, but wait until you have done it a few
times, then SMILE, you just saved lots of money on teeth whitening!
You may want to consider adding this to your service package if
someone is purchasing a package as a value add.(If you have a way of
easily disposing of the waste or have access to a sink close to your
foot bath staging area. I do this as a daily routine, I do my
footbaths when I get ready in the morning, so I floss, brush, and
shave while I am detoxifying.
I have seen a huge difference, even my kids are now doing it to save
money on the dentist. The foot bath will also help internally on any
oral infections, the peroxide will also assist in promoting healing.
I hope this brightens your day! OK that was a little corny, but I
couldn't resist.
Yes I use the belt for myself and everyone all the time. Everyone loves it. Several of them mention that it feels really good on their back.

My detox machine came with a Infrared Ray Bamboo/Charcoal waist belt. Does anyone use this belt when detoxing? According to the book that came with my detox machine the belt can help with many things, for example, decrease joint stiffness, relieves muscle spasm, increases blood flow, leads to pain relief...etc, etc, etc.

Hi Patti...
I have found that people that have not been working on themselves and
are really toxic are the ones that can get sick. It helps if they are
hydrated before the start the session...and of course ...drink lots of
water after. I give them "emergen C" to put in the water after the

issues should eat before the detox.

It is my understanding that detoxing is beneficial for diabetes, but I
have heard another practitioner say that diabetics can't do the
detoxing. She has one of them expensive units that comes with
instruction booklet & carry case.(maybe a body balance system)
I have also experimented with different water. I make sure that I can
add at least 1/8th of a teaspoon of sea salt, if I can't add that much
with out it going over the recommended amperage, I add distilled
water. Depending upon the water, I sometimes use 1/2 gallon of hot
tap water & then add 1/2 gallon of room temp. distilled water. I have
found the best water is artesian well water, which I happen to have
locally.

Hi Susan,
Personally the only thing I noticed was a girl had quit smoking for 3
days and was on the patch. When I detoxed her the entire room smelled
like 100 people smoking. I think it was the patch! It is important to
get the nicotine out of their system..to make the withdrawls
faster...so It is my opinion that you should try and detox her as often
as possible. Dont forget the minerals.
Any other opinions out there?

Hello, I would like to know if anyone has helped someone quit smoking
with the use of foot detox? If so, how often were the sessions and
were they doing anything else in conjunction? Thank you, Susan
I am putting a challenge out there to every one in the group... to
share your greatest story about detoxing. We are all doing this because
we personally detox and feel better.
I will tell one.
I had a gall bladder attack the other night ...kept me up all night in
pain. When I got up in the morning, I detoxed and the water was
really dark..blue/green and the pain went away.
Not a real exciting story... but it was to me... as the pain was gone..
Also... if anyone is not on my mailing list for
www.highervibrations.com, I am putting out a list of detox
practitioners nationally on the site. If you havent sent me your
information to join, please do so . Hopefully we might get business
from it... but we also can use it for networking.
Thanks....

Hello Mr Monroe!
Welcome to the yahoo group for detoxers!!!
What a great testimonial! You made my day!!
First I applaude you and your courage in taking responsiblity for you
own healing.
I have always been told that a person should detox every other day...
3 weeks on and 1 week off. And I always recommend that everyone take
a really good multi mineral supplement. It is very important.
I do not know of any published information ...which is why we have
this group. This is really a modality that is self taught and that
is why we are here.. to share experience.
Hopefully we will start to get more great stories like this one!
Thank you so much.

I personally have Multiple Sclerosis(25+ years) and yet to be defined
neurological disorders that have had a major impact on my life in the
last 5 years with many of the symptoms affecting my major organs,
especially my breathing, memory, and cognitive function. I have sought
alternative medicine because the $3500 a month in prescription drugs
has not been very effective. The first break through was acupuncture
using MASC (Magnetic Acupuncture Suction Cups) NO NEEDLES! Sort of the
Acupuncture for dummies, it is hard to get it wrong, and after a few
professional sessions, ordered a set and do it myself at home and for
friends. I did find some relief with the acupuncture, but then I read
about footbath detox. Everything that I read made sense to me and so I
went out and purchased a machine. I started out with footbaths every
other day, I started to see a significant change in how I was feeling
and my energy level. I saw a decrease in symptoms from the MS within a
few sessions. My skin has felt like creepy crawlers were under the
surface along with tingling and numbness. For the first time in 25+
years I no longer have these sensations. I also have a gate when I
walk from being paralyzed on my right side from my initial
exacerbation so I drag and limp some with my right leg, the more tired
I am the worse the symptoms. I go to a traditional Chinese massage
therapist for massage to help with the symptoms and to also get my chi
balanced which assists in eliminating toxins and opening the water
channels so the foot detox can be even more effective. They shared a
Chinese secret with me that has assisted in my healing, the therapist
that I go to is from China and does not speak English very well so the
only way that he could explain my right leg condition was that I had
"evil Water" that needed to be removed and it would take a couple of
months to get it out and that would mean I should soak my feet,
including my ankles, in hot salt water making sure to keep the water
hot during the entire soaking he said this was critical for the
success of removing the "evil water". Instead of soaking my feet in
just salt water as he suggested, I decided to use the same theory, but
with the footbath. I have now been doing the footbaths daily and have
been doing so for the last 2 months. I am finally seeing the gate
disappear, even better all of the pain associated with it is almost
eliminated. I will continue to do the same regime until it is
completely healed. I believe these footbaths are nothing short of a
miracle! I also have been on two Alzheimer's medications Aricept and
Namenda for 4+ years because my neurologist feels that I have
something in the gray matter of my brain that is causing memory loss
and cognitive impairment. He explained to me that modern medicine has
not advanced enough in the study of gray matter to do anything else,
he said it is at a cellular level. Since starting the footbaths I am
able to think clear and my short term memory has improved. I was very
excited to share my new discovery with my doctor who is one of the
leading Neurologist's at the Atlanta MS Clinic. I saw him two weeks
ago and he was encouraged by the outcomes of the footbaths and told me
to keep doing what I am doing and he will help monitor my outcome. He
said it made perfect sense to him since it is at a molecular level
that these changes are occurring and since the process is being done
through the skin as the delivery method. My doctor told me that they
have tried something similar with MS patients experimentally in the
past, via direct dialysis of the blood which had poor results. I guess
it would be similar to one foot bath, thinking that will give you a
complete detoxifying when in truth it will take several sessions and
ongoing just to keep up with the toxins we absorb and consume. The Dr.
said that the dialysis of the blood had other potential risks also. So
my journey continues and I believe I am on my way to full recovery.
I have been sharing my experience with my family and friends and they
have seen such positive changes in me that they all want to purchase
or have me give them foot bath sessions.
I could really go on and on, but you may already know the value of the
detox foot bath, that is why your here. Because this process doesn't
have a great deal of documented guidelines,I am wondering about the
frequency most practitioners give to their clients. I agree that at
first your body can only take every other day, but once you have
started the detoxifying process and opening up the channels to release
the toxins, I don't know if twice a month would be enough to be
effective. After the first month I started doing the footbath therapy
everyday, there are times when I feel that I do have to skip a day to
allow for some natural healing to catch up, but I would say I foot
detox 6 out of 7 days a week. I still get a ton of toxins in the water
and feel great! If I stop for a few days I start to get blockage in my
lymphatic system which results in signs of knots and soreness. I would
like to know if any of you know of any reason why I shouldn't do
footbaths daily and could you point me to any documentation that I
could study or read concerning the impact?
In moving forward and offering this to friends and family, I want to
make sure that I would not put myself or others at any known risk. I
would also like to be able to give full disclosure if daily footbaths
had a known negative impact. I am now at about 3+ months of daily
footbaths without any negative impact that I have noticed or felt, but
would love to hear your feedback. It would be very helpful if you can
quote the source or let me know where to go to verify. These footbaths
have the ability to assist the body in natural healing and I believe
could give many people a better quality of life. It has mine!
Thank you for starting the group and I look forward to hearing about
your experiences and insight.
Thank you,
Mr. Monroe
