Thank you I am trying. I find right now I am having alot of flairs. I don't know if it is because I am healing or if the cause is from the deep ones that couldn't be removed but I am going to give my body time to heal before I make any judgement. I will let you know well take care and have a good noght!

Yikes Elaine – 20 at one time is a lot to be removed so being sore is certainly putting it mildly I’m sure.  My thighs are loaded with lipomas and I have considered removing one in particular because it’s the one that triggers the muscle spasms in my right thigh, but so far I haven’t found anyone willing to remove it yet.   I hope the healing goes well and that the surgery helps to restore some of your mobility and that the little buggers don’t grow back.

Rest up and try to take it easy so you can heal properly.

I am sorry to here you had your appendix out. I had mine out when I was fifteen. I am sure you felt awful before hand. I had been having alot of pain. I begged the NPDermatologist to remove the one on my knee she was reluctant told me to go to Boston if I wanted more removed because she was not comfortable. so when I went to get the stitches out I was all bummed out because I had such relief from them removing just that little lipoma on the side of my knee and I was not sure what I was going to do if the pain got that bad again. this was the third biopsy that helped relieve the pain. I did not have to waer my knee brace and I am not limping. so anyway. another doctor called me into the exam room when I went to have stitches out. He realized after I was not his patient. but he gave me the results of my biopsy and told me If I wanted more removed he would do it. It was like God had answered my prayers because I was so depressed thinking I was going to have to suffer with these painful lipomas. I told him about NP and how she was not comfortable removing them. I told him about Dercum's and how the lipomas cause me pain. He told me she had discussed my case and he was willing to remove any of the lipomas a couple at a time. so I booked surgery for 3mnth from  then and was having them done in the office in surgical room under local. I went in and told him to remove as many as he could find in my inner thigh. so he ended up removing 20 lipomas. He said it was about 3lbs of tissue they were attached to fibrous tissue and he could not remove all of them because some were very deep. he went as deep as he could. I have 3 layers of tissue. so I was bruised from groin to knee. my scar measured 6.7cm I think. and the had found alot to up in and near the groin. but the pain has always been sever in my inner thigh mostly on the right thigh. I was filled with lipomas or lipomatosis. I stayed out of work the next day was to sore but went the day after ended up having my stitches break. so went and they told me steri strips or I could have the big hematoma under my incision cleaned out and restitched or let it absorb and be steri striped which is what I did. I was to sore to be cut open again. he took one look at my leg and wrote me out a RX for pain meds. so I had more steri strips put on Monday because the middle part kept opening so it will take longer to heal. I told him I was on my feet and do alot of lifting and stuff he didn't tell me to stay home. so I worked. I did not know I was having all that done. I was on the table 2hours and they kept putting lidocaine in when I feel the scissors cut me. I made it though. well that's the story sorry so long. E

I was Bruised and swollen from my groin to knee. I went back today and the wound keeps opening up in the middle so I have steri strips and a bandage on for a couple of weeks to get the wound to close. T here are stitches inside keeping from opening up. T he doctor keeps pointing out that I had alot of tissue removed 3lbs worth lipomas. He removed 20 from my inner thigh. I will know better how I will feel after the wound is healed still sore. A blood clot must of broke friday because I had blood pour out of the wound. I had big hematoma under the incision that and the bruising is gone. I'll have a nasty scar.

-----Subject: Special Bonus to Help Dercums Disease

Hi Pamela,

We know that many causes have had a hard year, so we'd like to try something new to
help Dercums Disease that requires your participation, but is free and definitely easy.

iGive.com is going to attempt to donate $5,000 in just 24 hours to Dercums Disease and other causes.

For each person who joins iGive using the special link below and does just one web search on our
site between now and noon Thursday, we'll give Dercums Disease a dollar.

5,000 new members, $5,000.  No purchase necessary.

Of course, if they search more (or buy something) they'll earn even more money for Dercums Disease.
Right now, we're donating $.02 per search and a bonus $5 for that first purchase plus the usual percentage.

Here's where you come in.  The only way Dercums Disease will get new supporters and that free $1 (or more)
is if you invite them.  Send your friends, family, and colleagues the following link in an e-mail, tweet it, do a
Facebook posting, put up posters, shout from mountain tops (you know the drill) and let them know you think
Dercums Disease is pretty cool and deserves their support, especially since it's free!  You can even just forward
this e-mail.

This is the link:
    http://www.igive.com/welcome/warm_reg_promo.cfm?m=558463

We're really proud of our search capability, powered by Yahoo!  We've made tons of improvements over the
past four months, so we want lots of people to try it out and put it to the test.  If they keep on searching or
shopping after testing us out, so much the better for Dercums Disease and iGive.com.

The details:
    - Offer active between now and 11:59 a.m., December 17, 2009 (Chicago time).
    - New members only (never have been an iGive member previously).  All the normal rules of membership, searching, and
purchasing apply, our site has the details.
    - Once we've given away $5,000, the offer ends.

That's it.  Don't forget to try our search yourself (http://isearch.igive.com).  You may need to login first.

From our families to yours, we hope you have a great holiday season.

Yours,

Robert N. Grosshandler

I am sorry I am late getting back it is my husbands birthday and christmas shopping. with that and work my stitches have not healed. The nurse asked me if I took off work after the surgery but the Doctor knew what I did and didn't tell me to. I did take off the next day I was so sore, bruised and swollen. my incision is still sore and now itchy. the steristrips should hold it together for a week before I apply more. but we will see how I feel. the doctor still brags about how much tissue he took out. I think this was the most he ever did was take out 20 lipomas in one area 3lbs of tissue worth. my leg showed it after. so the wound is still healing I will have a three inch nasty scar or more. but it will be worth it if I am pain free for a while. thanks for asking and how are you?

Hi, I had to go to the doctors on the saturday after having the surgery because the stitches broke at work. they put steri strips on the wound and gave pain medication.

Thanks Teri, I just had to call the surgeon tonight, I went to change out of work close into pajamas when I noticed that the stitch broke.it is a running stitch I believe which is one long stitch so I have to go in tomorrow. I hate the though of touching the area it is so sore and purplish red from the groin stops half way to the knee it is one big bruise. I also developed alump under the scar I hope it's not blood or maybe I do because the blood can be reabsorbed. anyway it has been sore working it is hard to get up and down off chairs, into the car, and the pants rubbing the area it is just plain sore looks nasty. I just hope it brings long time of relief in that area. a course one thigh bigger than the other should be a site. thanks for the hugs hope you are a-okay! E

HI Joyce,
I've been told all of those things too. I was actually anorexic in my 30's because they kept telling me I wasn't trying hard enough to lose weight. Nothing worked, so I just kept eating less and exercising more. The result was malnutrition, and I got very skinny in non-lipedemic areas (at the time, that was most of my upper body-not so anymore) and remained fat everywhere else. I wish I had known what the problem was sooner. It could have saved me a lot of grief.

Thanks Pam...I'll ask him about it when I see him. I can call some oncology clinic's too. I think when someone doesn't understand what is going on or what to do they just tell you whatever they think will make you happy or get rid of you. Like you said compression should stop clotting and not cause it. Like so many of us I've been told to have gastric bypass, liposuction, lose weight, and that will solve all my problems. Getting proper care is so important. Never giving up and always knowing you aren't alone helps for sure. Thanks again.

Joyce,
Lipedema doesn't respond to wrapping the way lymphedema does, but it does respond. You shrink in centimeters instead of inches though. Some therapists don't see that as helping, but it does. It reduces the pain and slows the progression, maybe preventing the secondary lymphedema. To find an MLD therapist, try calling some oncology clinics. If they can treat lymphedema, they can also treat lipedema. Ask if she/ he is familiar with lip or willing to learn. Wrapping should not bruise you. If it did, it wasn't done right and may have caused more harm than good. I haven't had the factor v lieden test because my veins are so bad they couldn't get enough blood for the test. I do have a long history of phlebitis, though, so it is a possibility. Ask your doc, but I would think wrapping (correctly) would prevent clots. They put compression hose on me when I had clots in my legs years ago.
You aren't alone.
Hugs and spoons,
Pamela

Hi Pam,
One big question...when this first started happening I did the wrapping for Lymphedema as that's what they said I had. I ended up clotting/bruising from it and when they saw it was doing nothing they said you must not have Lymphedema because it didn't help you (the wraps). My husband had to come in and learn how to apply it, but it didn't help. I know about the garments because I had my veins stripped in one leg, before I knew all this, and had to wear them. They were ordered for me, had to be measured etc. and they were a pain but I wore them for awhile then got tired of the heat and how uncomfortable they were so I stopped. I also have Factor V Leiden so have to watch for that. I even wonder the way my legs get so tight and swollen if it will cause a clot.

I've tried to find someone in my area (Olympia, WA) who does Lymphpatic massage but haven't as of yet. Lot's of massage places but no one who does Lymphatic kind. I still look to see if someone new comes or find one who does that maybe I've missed.

I'm doing some of the things that Dr. Karen tells us. I'm taking 800 selenium a day (it's more then she says I think but I saw another Dr. who knows about Dercum's say to do 800) I also do the grape seed extract, Centrum Silver and Fish oil. I'm finding I can't eat a full meal or I'll throw it up. I have to have little meals and that helps. I've not done the diet recommended....that's the hard one for me. I eat what I can tolerate. I guess I get so mad at what I can't do that I think don't take that from me. I'm not the best patient you could say.

Your email did help....sometimes hearing someone validate again what you think or what you go through is enough. I've bought the Dercums cap (denium with the pink dercums sign on it) I keep hoping someone will see it and say I know or have that.....I figure people will figure out it's something I have and ask....not yet!

Thanks Pam.
Joyce

Hi Joyce,
I had put up my laptop for the day when I read your post on my blackberry, and I just had to power the laptop back up to see your pictures and respond to you. I'm not a doctor but even I can easily see you have Lipedema. If the swelling is also affecting the tops of your feet, you probably also have lipo-lymphedema. I am shorter than you, and weigh more, so I know how you are feeling. I also have both lipedema and lipo-lymphedema, and my entire body involved. Whatever you do, don't allow anyone to cut on your legs or abdomen. (I had a biopsy from my thigh before I knew about lipedema and it was a nightmare)  In fact, it is best to avoid surgery altogether since the fluids pumped into you while under anesthetic will make things worse.
I can't walk around stores anymore. If they don't have electric carts, they just don't get my business. I frequently walk with a cane if I have to go any distance at all.
The treatment for lipedema is complete decongestive therapy and manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) with compression wraps, followed by compression garments, which must be worn during waking hours for life. Following Dr Herbst's dietary and supplement recommendations does help, and so does dry brushing, but the MLD and garments are very important and help with pain and mobility alot.
Hope this helps. You can write to me privately if you need to.
Hugs and spoons,
Pamela

I don't always read the emails completely but noticed there has been discussion about the legs and surgery.
I'm having a hard time right now with my ankles and feet. I have lipoma's on the outer side of both my ankles and they are putting pressure on my feet. The side bones of my feet hurt, they are so sore and I get shooting pains. It's hard to walk with this going on. I also get itching below the lipoma's on my feet and find my heels are sore now too.

Who do you see about this? A podiatrist, surgeon etc.? Am I understanding correctly that surgery may not help or would make it worse? When do you decide (I know it's an individual decision too) to do something and if you don't do anything how do you function? I use a cane and wheelchair if I have to walk a long distance and am finding that even walking through the grocery store is so hard for me. I'm not overly obese but know that any added weight is making things worse, my knees, hips and back are shot. I try to walk as much as I can to keep moving but end up in more pain.

I've attached several pictures, and know that I'm not near as bad as some I've seen, but I'm a visual person and like to see pictures. This was taken about a year or more ago so there is some increase. I sent these to Dr. Karen and she told me I'm sure you know you have lipedema.... I think it's becoming lipo-lymphedema as I'm getting more fluid retention even with taking diuretics. I'm 245 bls. and 5'5".

Thanks for any info you may have.

Hello all

Speaking of itching, one of the worst places for me - this may sound strange -
is under my arm pits. I have many lipomas under and around my arm pits. When I
started itching under my right one, I realized I was growing lipomas. It is the
exact type of itching that I experience in other places - stomache etc.- where I
have grown dd tumors. The itching is very intense and lasts for days, but mine
is localized to where the lipomas grow. I do not have dry skin that causes
itching.

Hugs to all
Teri

Group Guidelines and Rules of Netiquette

The Group owners/moderators will enforce these guidelines!

The Global Health Network support group community gives persons affected by various diseases or disorders, family members, friends and medical professionals a place to meet, interact, and share ideas with each other. Just like a real community, you may have different opinions than other group users. Our Group experience is best when people remember a few rules. Herein, we have set out guidelines and Rules of Netiquett for participation in our group.  Here are some of the key things to remember:

  1. You may not harass, abuse, threaten, or advocate violence against other members or individuals or groups.
  2. You may not post content that is harmful to minors.
  3. You may not post content that is obscene, otherwise objectionable, or in violation of federal or state law.
  4. You may not add members to a group without their permission.
  5. You may not use the group for commercial or advertising purposes.
  6. You may not post content which infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties.
  7. Some content may be more appropriate in some contexts than others. We reserve the right to remove content that it determines deemed to be inappropriate and in violation of our rules.
  8. You may not use the group solely for the purpose of storing and archiving files.

If you are unsure whether your content is consistent with these policies, please err on the side of caution and do not post it!

NOTE: In the beginning, posts will be moderated to ensure adherence to the group Guidelines and Rules of Netiquette.

Our Right to Terminate Group Membership.

The group owner(s) and or moderator(s), in their sole discretion, may terminate or remove any content or your membership immediately and without notice if (a) it is believed that you have acted inconsistently with the spirit or the letter of the group, the group’s guidelines, or (b) believed you have violated or tried to violate the rights of others. Please help us keep our group an enjoyable and positive experience. If you see a post that violates our rules, please let us know by contacting
David Hughes at dhhughes@....

Read on for Group Rules of Netiquett!

Rules of Netiquette

Joining a List/Discussion Group

  1. When you join a list, save your introductory welcome message! Welcome messages generally contain important information about the group -- the rules and guidelines, instructions on how to post to the group, how to subscribe, how to unsubscribe, etc. Follow any and all guidelines that the list owner has posted. The list owner establishes the local "netiquette" standards for her/his list and retains the right to deny access to the group for those violating the rules.
  2. When you join a list, monitor the messages for a few days (or read through the list archives, if available) to get a feel for what common questions are asked, and what topics are deemed off-limits. This is commonly referred to as lurking. When you feel comfortable with the group, then start posting.
  3. See if there is a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) – for a group that you are interested in joining. Veteran members get annoyed when they see the same questions every few weeks, or at the start of each semester.   Our group does have a FAQ page available in the database.
  4. Use your own personal Email account; don't subscribe using a shared office account. There are many free email websites out there -- Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc. - you may find it useful to use one of these type of accounts for all of your list mail. Also turn off any Auto-Responders - they create extra mail for people posting to the list and can cause people to stop posting.

Posting - General Tips

  1. Keep your questions and comments relevant to the focus of the discussion group.
  2. Do not post in ALL CAPS. Capitalize words only to highlight an important point or to distinguish a title or heading. *Asterisks* surrounding a word also can be used to make a stronger point. Capitalizing whole words that are not titles is generally termed as SHOUTING!
  3. Do not send "Me Too!", "Thank You", etc. messages to the group! Send those directly to the original poster. A private "Thank You" is nicer too!
  4. Do not send attached files. If you have a file that you want to share, advertise that you have them available and those who are interested can request them via private e-mail off list.
  5. Do not send SPAM. SPAM includes virus warnings, get-rich-quick schemes, secret cookie recipes, political propaganda, and chain letters (i.e. Pass this letter on to 10 people to have “Good Luck”). Most of these are hoaxes and are not welcome on mailing lists. They only serve to irritate people.   Definition of Spam:   It is unsolicited.  It is part of a “mass mailing or the sender is a stranger to the recipient.  (The recipient has never had a willful personal contact with the sender.)
  6. Try to read through the day's messages before responding so that twenty people don't end up answering the same question. Keep the messages that you think you'd like to respond to and delete the others. Then go back through and begin your replies. If you can, put your replies all in one post (known as combining posts).
  7. Do not send or forward personal email to a list or another person without permission.  This is a copyright violation and a serious breach of privacy and you may be removed from a list for doing so.
  8. When going away for more than a week, unsubscribe or suspend mail from any mailing lists or LISTSERV services. Directions for how to do that should have been included in the introductory welcome message that was sent to you went you subscribed.
  9. When replying to a message posted to a discussion group, check the address carefully to be certain it's going to the intended location (person or group). It can be very embarrassing if you reply incorrectly and post a personal message to the entire discussion group that was intended for an individual.
  10. Use discretion when forwarding a long mail message. It's preferable to reference the source of a document and provide instructions on how to obtain a copy. If you must post a long message, warn the readers with a statement at the top of the mail message. Example: WARNING: LONG MESSAGE
  11. Resist the temptation to "flame" others on the list. Flaming is the act of responding in a highly critical, sarcastic, or ridiculing manner - especially if done on a personal level. Remember that these discussions are "public" and meant for constructive exchanges. Treat the others on the list as you would want them to treat you.
  12. Do no send "unsubscribe" requests to the list. Other people on the list are not interested in your desire to be added or deleted. Any requests regarding administrative tasks such as being added or removed from a list should be made to the appropriate area, not the list itself. Refer to your introductory welcome message for instructions on how to unsubscribe or change your subscription settings. You were able to subscribe on your own, you should be able to unsubscribe on your own as well.
  13. Don't feel obligated to send a personal introduction or biography to the list when you first join unless the list guidelines specifically request that you do so. However, if someone does post a message of this type, it's OK if current members wish to welcome these people into the group and make them feel at home. Doing this on low volume lists helps to stimulate conversation. On high volume lists though, it is suggested that these people be welcomed using their private email address rather than have several welcome messages cluttering up group related discussions.

Posting - Subject Lines

  1. Be sure the subject line reflects the topic. In other words, don't auto-reply and start a new thread leaving the old subject line in the header. This of course, providing that your software will allow you to change the subject. (I don't know of any email program that *doesn't* allow it.)
  2. Put your entire comment in the body of the message. Don't begin your message with a few words in the Subject line and continue in the body of the message. That leads to discontinuity of the message and defeats the purpose of the Subject Line.
  3. If you receive your list mail in Digest form, change the subject line to appropriately reflect the topic of your post. A subject of "Re: Digest xxx" helps no one.

Posting - Quoting

When quoting another person, edit out whatever isn't directly applicable to your reply. Don't let your mailing software automatically quote the entire body of messages you are replying to when it isn't necessary. Take the time to edit any quotations down to the minimum necessary to provide context for your reply. Nobody likes reading a long message in quotes for the third or fourth time, only to be followed by a one line response: "Yeah, me too."

What does quoted text look like? Email programs can display quoted text in a variety of ways, but the most common is for each line of text to be preceded by the "greater than" symbol (>).

> This is quoted text

Some email programs will simply add the line "--- Original Message ---" (or something similar) to the top of the previous message with the expectation that you will type your reply above that. While this style of quoting is okay in a business situation -- that is, when you are having a discussion with a co-worker and would like to keep the entire message thread within each email -- it is definitely NOT okay when using discussion lists, as it only serves to make the mail difficult to read. If you are using an email program that quotes in this fashion, you will need to manually create your quoted text. The simplest way to do this is to edit out the text you don't want and add two slashes ("//") to the beginning and ending of the text you'd like to quote.

//This is also quoted text//

The number one rule of quoting is quote judiciously. Quote only what is essential to make it possible for the reader to understand what your posting or email message is about. As a rule avoid quoting an entire message (signatures and all). It is not judicious to quote, say, a hundred lines of discussion just to input a single line of one's own. Proper quoting is a skill. Please devote some time to working the quote appropriately. Don't be lazy in this respect.

Leave a blank line between the quoted text and your reply or else your text and the quoted text will difficult to distinguish from each other.

Where is the best place to put your reply? Above or below the quoted text?

BELOW! Some more recent standard email and newsreader programs have assumed a very problematic feature. They include the message which you are responding to below your message and expect you to type your reply above it. Don't allow that to happen! The proper order is

>Quote 1 (properly pruned)

Your response 1

>Quote 2 (properly pruned)

Your response 2

In other words, put each appropriately trimmed item that you choose to quote before each of your own comments respectively. Remove any remaining "post quoting." Let me emphasize. Do not leave the entire earlier posting, which you have been responding to, at the end of your own posting.

Answering above the original message is called top posting. This is sometimes, called “The Jeopardy Style.”  Discussion groups are Q & A not A & Q.

These things SHOULD NEVER be in quoted messages:

  1. Headers or any Subject, Date, From, Reply-To, To, information, nor any general salutations.
  2. Entire posts! Keep your quoted lines down to 4-6 for each different issue you are addressing.
  3. Widowed quote lines. This means a line consisting of only one word getting stuck between two regular length lines of quoted text. You make the digest listing TWICE as long when you allow that. If the quoted material comes out with an orphaned word, take the time to move everything around so there aren't a bunch of holes in your post. Often this is a problem with keeping the font for your mail program too low. Please change to a bigger font size if your quotes are producing orphaned words.
  4. Sig lines, signature text, ads or footers from previous posts (you know, like the ones that tell you how to unsubscribe or how to contact the list owners, etc.)

Posting - How Do I Edit My Messages?

Help! I've been asked to "edit my messages" but I don't know how!

We were all new once, so don't let it bother you that you don't know how to edit. :) Editing a message is very easy. With a little practice, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it!

When you are replying to a post, hit the REPLY button just as you have been doing. Hitting the REPLY button will include the entire OLD message in the NEW message you are creating. The goal of "editing" your message is to get rid of any information from the previous post that you don't need in order for your reply to make sense.

To edit, put your cursor at the top left of the section you DON'T want to include (for example the To/From/Subject stuff or the message footers and people's signature lines. Click and hold the left mouse button and drag across the section to highlight it. Then hit both the delete key and the space bar or enter key (whatever is comfortable for you) and it will remove the unwanted section. If you accidentally remove more than you intended, go to the menu bar at the top of the screen, look under EDIT and click on "Undo".... then start again. 'Undo' is also available from the menu that pops up when you right click on the mouse. Or pressing the CTRL button along with the Z button will also "undo" the last action.

Also, when you are replying to different portions of a previous message, it is normal procedure to skip to the different portions you are replying to using the "question, answer, question, answer" format discussed in the previous section. Just make sure you hit the Enter key to leave a space after the quoted text and include your comments below that section of the message so that people can tell where the quoted text ends and your replies begin. It makes it so much easier for everyone to understand what you are replying to.

You might be wondering why we ask people to please edit their messages. There are many reasons to dislike excessive quoting. The most common are:

1.      Some people are visually handicapped and use "screen readers"

2.      Some people pay for their download/transfer usage or pay for their time online on a per-minute or per-hour basis.

3.      It clutters up the Digests and makes them darn near impossible to read.

4.      It makes it more difficult to follow the discussion. If your reply looks like it's part of the quoted portion, it can easily be missed. Also, if you don't include *any* quoted material, your reply won't make any sense to anybody. But most importantly,

5.      The List Mom doesn't like unedited posts. Can we say "pet peeve?" :)

ACRONYMS/SHORTHAND

Internet users in general have developed their own shorthand for e-communications. There is a comprehensive list of e-shorthand and emoticons (those little smiley faces made up of keyboard characters to indicate emotion) that can be found at the website here: http://www.stevegrossman.com/jargpge.htm

Another smaller, yet Early Edition skewed list can be found here: http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Makeup/3281/acronym.htm

For anything not covered in either of those sites, the general thing to keep in mind is that fans of a particular series will most often make acronyms out of the episode titles (DWAR for "Don't Walk Away Renee," etc.), out of the character names (GH for Gary Hobson), or out of the actor names (FS for Fisher Stevens). Keep those things in mind, and you shouldn't have any troubles.

Some commonly used acronyms/emoticons include:

LOL = Laughing out Loud
ROFLOL = Rolling of Floor Laughing out Loud
TPTB = The Powers That Be
TIIC = The Idiots In Charge
OT = Off Topic
TAN = Tangent
IMO = In My Opinion
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary
<g> = grin
<G> = big grin
<eg> = evil grin

Hi Jackie,
I'm Pamela, also in Missouri. I have a terrible time with the itching too. I do suspect we itch where lumps are forming, but I'm not sure that is the cause of it. I keep back scratchers in every room and vehicle.
HUgs and spoons,
Pamela

Mine too. I itch just as much in the summer as in the winter. I am not diabetic either, so that isn't it.

Mine is the disease for sure.  I don't have dry skin at all.  Just the itchys.  Sometimes it drives me insane.  I do believe if itching was bad enough for long enough, it would drive me right out of my mind.

Hugs.

Do you think itchy dry skin is related to the season or disease. I get rash on my legs that can scab and bleed it is ezcema I think but I get it every time this year. my doctor told me it was yeast infection so I always treated it as. I remeber getting the rash after I had parvovirus B19. and i have had it every year. it had nothing to do with the virus i just happen to get shortly after having the virus and get at this time every year. always on my legs sometimes on the back of my thigh havn't had it there in along time. well enough of me. I don't know what causes it. it is a rash it won't kill me that is how I look at it. E
