Hi Feather,
Good to see you posting! I agree with the early moonsoon season. I
have been affected and am dreading the next couple of months. And
about those winds, I got caught in one of those 55 mph ones two
weeks ago and ended up sliding off of my bike (didn't exactly fall,
just lost control) and the pedal whacked me in the knee. So no more
evening riding until all of this blows out of here. It is cloudy
today so I can hardly walk, let alone ride anyway!!!
We had such a crazy year but things are starting to slow down. I am
thinking that one of these days when we take a trip down to Tucson,
we might just slip on down to Sierra Vista. I would love to meet up
with you and share some war stories!!!
Take care and hang on to that palm tree!
Bev

away by the winds - I think it will be an early monsoon season for
us and those crazy weather shifts always mean an increase in
discomfort for us! Thank goodness for the pool & spa!

thoughts often. May all go well!

the tough days - much more stress for me running his office.
However, I was offered and accepted a position with the company my
hubby works for as the assistant to their Human Resource Manager.
Great pay, a 401K, 3 days per week and set my own hours! All I
really have to do is track and enter timesheets for about 140
people. They have been so great! They have modified my
desk/counter to accommodate my specific needs and I brought my own
chair. (I spent hours at Staples a few years ago until I found an
office chair that doesn't cut across the lumps in the back of my
legs and moves/adjusts to my satisfaction!) They got me a
scanner/printer so I don't have to make so many trips to the copy
machine and they even had someone come and open a window that hadn't
been opened in 20 years! I do love the smell of the pine tree
outside! I just wish the ladies room weren't 2 hallways away!

can use what energy I have left to play with my Granddaughters. The
youngest is so cute and her & her Mother have been living with us.
When Grandma has had a hard day and just needs to rest, we've made a
game of "putting Grandma to bed" - when she tires of playing on the
bed, she goes out and shuts the door with a "Nite, nite, Grandma! I
love You!" Then goes off to bounce on PopPop! LOL I have found
that if I eat a banana every day I don't get tired so quickly and my
brain fog clears a bit. I don't know what is in them that helps.
(I have tried a potassium supplement and that made me feel wired so
badly that I couldn't sleep at all!)

and stomach - none that are exceptionally painful so no new
removals. I've put on 10 more pounds - yuck! What worries me most
now is the feeling that I am losing elasticity in the areas most
affected. I have an appt with my surgeon next week to discuss
opinions, options and tissue samples for Dr. Herbst. I had growth
hormone tested and it came back "ok" - am going to get a copy of the
results to see where it fell in th "normal" range. I had blood test
done Monday for Lyme disease but don't know how long it take to get
those results. Has anyone heard how Carole is faring on the
pancriatic (sp?) enzymes?

I've learned to take advantage of that and go to sleep before I wind
