New dentures driving me crazy!   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #982 of 3382 |
I got immediate dentures on thursday.. left them in..went back to see
the dentist on Friday for him to take them out..I had so many sore
spots that every time he touched my gums I cried and sobbed. He did
the best he could but I was sent home with the sore spots and the
advice to just buck it up. I took them out this morning could not get
them back in without crying.. I finally got them in later..but rubbing
against the sore spots was driving me batty..plus I didnt even know if
I had them in right! I finally took them out for the night and tried
and tried to get all the adhesive off ..I swear they make that out of
cement. My question is.. WILL I EVER GET USED TO THESE THINGS? HOW
LONG DOES IT HURT? WILL I EVER GET USED TO THAT THING IN THE ROOF OF
MY MOUTH? Im starting to regret the whole procedure.. I am getting
really really depressed... I was supposed to feel prettier but I just
feel ugly because now I have this saggy mouth when I dont have the
teeth in and IM in agony when I do have the teeth in.. Please someone
tell me this is normal????
