Hi
Everyone
I am 45 years old have known for at least 8 years I needed to have my
teeth removed.
Planning all 14 lower removed on the 29 of June. Hope to have all 14
upper pulled about 60 days later.
This is something I would have done sooner but my wife is from he
Philippines and there always some emergency there that needs our help
with.
Last year I was able to get dental insurance covers 1500 dollars worth
of work.
So my bottom teeth will cost me about 750 to remove top about 1900.
The plan is to go without teeth after the top are pulled for at least
6 Months
To give the gums time to shrink. I knew about this when I went in and
they were surprised that
they did not have to talk me into it.
The decision to do the bottom teeth is to give them more time to
shrink before dentures about 8 Months.
Plus insurance will cover mot of the cost of the denture.
I considered haveing my teeth pulled in the Philippines since that is
where my wife from.
But when I considered the cost of plane fare and the fact I could
sleep in my own bed I was only saving 700 dollars on the extractions I
decided against it.
Denture are cheaper there and it a great place to vacation.
Take Care
