Talking is coming along. I don't have any trouble with any words. I don't think
people that meet me even know that I have dentures, I think they just think I
have nice teeth. I can eat anything. The only think I have yet to be able to do
is bite into things like a piece of pizza or a hamburger. I still cut them up.
But everyday they are beginning to feel more and more like my real teeth but
better because they don't hurt. I go back in April for the final dentures that
will be my six month appt. So all in all I would say I am doing very well. It
takes getting used to so I would get your work done over the summer so that you
can learn to talk with them, but it come quickly.

Dear Liz: I teach and have had a partial since the age of 19. I
may need to get my partial expanded soon or a full plate on top and
at least a bottom partial. It worries me with all my talking in
front of students and peers. Hope all is going well for your now
both in terms of your job and eating. Thanks for any tips, CP

about 3 weeks out and I am still adjusting. I am glad I did it all
at once. It was only really painful the first 2 weeks. I am still
not adjusted and not sure I like my new dentures but I guess there
is no turning back. The tops seem easy but the bottoms are not
fitting well cutting my mouth a lot but we shall see. Pulling them
all at once is the only way I would go.
