Yes, it was still quite a bit of money for all the extractions. The whole bill
for all the extractions and he immediate dentures came to just about 2,300. I
will go back in 6 months for the permanent dentures. I was not put under just
given a lot of shots, it was uncomfortable but not painful. My teeth had never
had proper care while I was growing up we were very very poor. I am now a
professional and couldn't stand the way my teeth looked. I probably could have
paid for all the repairs if I had wanted to but I didn't want to. I have three
sons and I would rather spend the money on them. Not teeth. I went to the
Affordable Dentures website found them showed up that morning and had it all
done. I have had moments of shock over it all but it is getting better. I will
be glad when all the healing is over with and I will be really glad when I learn
to eat with them. Right now I am still learning to chew but I figure that will
come. Right now it has been a heck of a diet plan.

THe dentist that did the work was a really nice lady and she didn't lecture, I
was the customer knew what I wanted and they gave it to me. No questions asked.
The extractions took a while maybe an hour or two, and the first night was kind
of weird but not painful, she had written prescriptions for my pain and
antiobitics before they did the extractions. My son drove me home and the next
day I flew to Toronto Canada for a conference. I was swollen but not really in
a lot of pain. All in all I would recommend this way of doing the work. I hope
to not have to pay a dentist again. At least until I need a new set of dentures.

Do you see this "conspiracy" yourself ? ..... where these dentists
want to KEEP you as a customer "forever" ? ..... I could get my
mouth "repaired" with the typical dental crowns and bridges - with
fragile and brittle root canals BUT they do not offer any kind of
guarantee or warranty with their products or services.

I saw this "conspiracy" ALSO at the University of Michigan dental
school - back in the early 90's - when I had 3000$ plus worth of work
done then - but I never paid attention to it. They had only about a
THIRD of the # of students that they could have. I asked WHY ......
and got a round-about-answer that the "market" did not "need" that
many dentists.

The way I figure that if I go with dentures - I am done paying their
outrageous fees.
