WHY did you have all those teeth pulled ? Was it just a choice - or
were there problems with them? How long did they take with the
extractions ? ..... 55$ is the cheapest I have heard lately but it is
still almost 1200$ !! .... did they put-you-under for all of that?
How much were the dentures themselves?
Do you see this "conspiracy" yourself ? ..... where these dentists
want to KEEP you as a customer "forever" ? ..... I could get my
mouth "repaired" with the typical dental crowns and bridges - with
fragile and brittle root canals BUT they do not offer any kind of
guarantee or warranty with their products or services.
I saw this "conspiracy" ALSO at the University of Michigan dental
school - back in the early 90's - when I had 3000$ plus worth of work
done then - but I never paid attention to it. They had only about a
THIRD of the # of students that they could have. I asked WHY ......
and got a round-about-answer that the "market" did not "need" that
many dentists.
The way I figure that if I go with dentures - I am done paying their
outrageous fees.
What kind of "lectures" did you get? ... Eric

experiences with other dentist saying they could save them with root
canals crowns etc.. you know all the things I didn't want to spend
money on. I went to "Affordable Dentures" they were over 4 hours
away but did not give me any run around or lectures just did what I
asked. Which was really nice. The uppers are fine but the lowers are
not fitting well at all. I have had the lowers out all day today
trying to heal my lower gums.
