My sister is in the process of getting dentures right now. She had to
have14 extractions, and she went several times over the course of a
couple of months to have all of them done. I'm wondering if it's
necssary to do it that way. Getting it all over with at once and
walking out of the office with immediate dentures sounds more appealing
to me than walking around for months with a steadily decreasing number
of teeth, then finally going back for the dentures, but I wonder how
traumatic that might be, especially if a large number of extractions is
needed. Any thoughts on this? Experiences to share?
